What most people would find dark, scary, and extremely intimidating, Coby fills with a lustful desire for Brogan. Both have had their fair share of people they have slept with trying to sate their appetite but neither have been able to let go like they do with each other. They are in a complex game of give and take. Both have had terrible childhoods, very different but similar all the same. And here is where they they really start to rely on using each other. Brogan almost dies in an accident and Coby becomes extremely protective of her. Then, Boom! Buckle up for an intense ride!
And this is about all I can tell you of the actual story so there are no spoilers. But there isn’t just one twist that will stop you in your tracks but there are several twists that are going to make you gasp. I mean real, heartfelt, deep in your soul gasps. I thought the other books in this series were intense but this one takes the cake. Once again the bad guy is truly twisted and really puts this story in its place. I find that when I read a series that the first book is usually the best and then they wind down as you go through the series. Truthfully, this is my favorite one yet. It is not your normal damsel in distress. Again, many gasps…promise. There is plenty of hotness that I have come to know from JM Walker with this series but the rollercoaster ride of emotions is the killer. Beware, you won’t be able to put this one down!
