Holly crap…this was a great page turner for me.  First of all I don’t usually read anything that is scary but when it’s Bella Jewel I have to read it. If I thought 72 hours was dark and suspenseful wow did Bella crank it up a notch for The Watcher.

Marlie Jacobson was kidnapped and tortured several years ago. She was able to get away from her kidnapper.  Her mother capitalized on her nightmare and published a book tossing Marlie into the spotlight everywhere she went. Now her sister is missing only no one believes her when she says there is foul play involved.

Marlie hires Kenai Michelson a private investigator to help her find her sister. Even though he believes her sister is a runaway agrees to help find her.  To see Marlie and Kenai go on this cat vs mouse type of chase and see how they get to know each other was a great story.  Both have their past they are trying hard not to let the other in on. Marlie holds her past in and never truly told anyone what all she endured with The Watcher.

I loved Marlie she was a strong never give up type of woman. She was able to outsmart The Watcher overcome what she endured and was a stronger smarter woman for it. Kenai was so frustrating to me in the beginning I wasn’t sure if I was going to like him but in the end he won me over.  To see Kenai transform from the cold standoffish brooding man to one that was understanding and protective was amazing to see. This story took me on so may twist and turns just as you thought they were on to something there was something else that would be exposed that blew that thought out of the water. I have to say some of the scenes tested my gag reflexes and Marlie was a strong woman to be able to overcome all she endured.  All in all I have to say I cannot wait for another dark suspenseful mystery from Bella Jewel.

This is the first in the Branches of Emrys series.  Brandy has a wonderful way of building a story and drawing me in. this second chance love story of sorts had me turning pages and wanting more.

Savon Roantree had the man of her dreams they were supposed to be together forever or so she thought until the day he broke his promise to return to her. She didn’t know if he was alive or dead so she tried to move on by leaving and never coming back. Nate loved Savon and never planned to hurt her but his father jumped in his way. The only way Nate could be with Savon was to follow her in her dreams. Savon brother convinces her to come back home and now Nate has a chance of winning her back.

The chemistry between Nate and Savon was explosive. The mix of drama, suspense, secrets, betrayals, and twists in this new series was incredible.  I loved the way some of the characters from Others of Edenton make appearances in this book. Seeing Preston, Trem and Robert was the best oh how I love Preston. The way Brandy entwined these characters was awesome but at the same time if you have not read the Others of Edenton series you still knew who they are, what they do, and how they are an important part of this book. I cannot wait for more of this series.

This was my first Sarah O’Rourke book and it will not be the last.  What would you do if you found a large kitty cat in your bed on the morning of your 21^st birthday? Well that is the exact predicament that Lexi found herself in.

Lexi tried her hardest to get the unwanted uninvited cat out of her bed I mean really all it was doing was ruining her new sheets. Then the moment she takes her eyes off the animal there stands the very handsome, very naked Beau. The same Beau that has been coming into her coffee shop and she has been crushing on for a while.

Beau is not a kitty cat as Lexi states but the Alpha of his Panther pack. Beau knew the moment he scented Lexi that she was his mate but he had to take it slow with her because she is human and knows nothing about his world.  On this day he could wait no longer she was his and he was pouncing.

This was a great short story I sure hope there will be more. We were introduced to a great number of characters that I would love to learn more about. The banter in this was great, there was some conflict or jealousy,  and seeing the family bond kept me turning the pages and hoping for more.

I am going to start this by stating that if you ladies don’t continue this series I might have to kick some butt!!

I loved this novella and (fingers crossed) start of a new series!!???  If you haven’t had the pleasure of reading these ladies you are totally missing out.  Their books are hilarious no matter what but they can write some killer heartache too.  Lucky for me, this book was all sexy times and funny banter.  Who doesn’t love that kinda read right???

So Alexa wakes up to a giant kitty cat….errr….sorry…panther in her bed.  All she is worried about is the fact it is ruining her new bed spread….LOL  after shewing the cat all of a sudden a customer from the coffee shop is in its place and LAWD is he a hot customer.

Beau is the alpha of the panthers who reside in the town Alexa works at.  He has been biding his time until today, her 21st birthday, to tell her that she is his. Period. The end.  WELLLLLL, Alexa isn’t so sure about this and kinds says “nope” which makes our shifter a bit nuts!!  Beau now realizes he is going to work hard for his mate and show her exactly what she is and who she is to him.

I loved the story and the banter.  I enjoyed meeting the rest of the shifters in his family and pack except…..welll read and you will totally know who I am talking about.  I loved the mythology of the shifters and who is in and who is out of the treaties.  But what I really loved, was the epilogue.  Again, this is where I sate they need to continue this series or this blogger will be not so happy with them.
