Meet Havoc…

I was happy doing my own thing.
No connections.
No demands.
No problems.
Just me, my club and a whole lot of dirty work to take care of.
She never wanted a biker.
She wanted stability and I gave up on that years ago.
We tried to fight it.
Neither of us wanted it.
But she calms my fury and I show her a man who accepts every part of her.
Now we’re trying to figure out how to be together.
Because when the need for each other is this strong, to deny it will only cause complete havoc.

Havoc Teaser 2

Melinda’s Review:

I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review.

I read Destined Havoc and loved Havoc and Carla. When I saw this was the rest of their story I was ecstatic and so ready to get my hands on it. I have to say I loved Havoc before but now I love him more.

Carla sees Havoc at a bar and immediately is drawn to him she knows he is a biker and a part of Storm. They have a one night stand that turns into a “two night” stand as Carla calls it. Then it starts to be so much more. They are opposites that come together like a magnet. Only problem is Havoc is a nomad and travels never staying in one place and Carla has school, a job and family.

The way Havoc loves Carla and tells her even though she finds out she is not his “type” had me falling for him more. The way Carla tossed out the sass at him was even better kept him on his toes. Carla is a strong woman she may have some insecurities when it comes to men but she can stand up for herself and others if she feels they are being treated unfairly. She refuses to back down no matter who she is facing, doesn’t matter if it is her brother, teachers, or customers. The banter and chemistry between Havoc and Carla is off the charts.

I so enjoyed reading more of Havoc and Carla. Carla is hell on wheels if something needs to be said she will say it and in Carla sass fashion. I also like that she wasn’t perfect and totally strong as nails but had some insecurities. What can I say about Havoc he had two sides his hot sexy alpha biker get the job done no matter what the cost for the club and then there was the protective loving side only shown to Carla. Oh and can I also say I loved Havoc’s sister and the back and forth between him and her, priceless sibling love. Havoc’s dad he was great too had just a filthy mouth as Havoc. Guess the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree with these two.

Even though this is part of the Storm series it can be read as a standalone. If you have never read a Nina Levine book I suggest this one Havoc and Carla one of my favorites. Plus you get a glimpse of a few of the other Storm Guys. I cannot wait for the next Storm MC.

Here are a few of my favorites:

“And, I don’t fuckin’ shoot for heaven. I bring it to your goddamn door,”

She invaded every fucking sense of mine until I didn’t know right from wrong, up from down, red from fucking blue.

“You know what I realised, Kelly? I fuckin’ realised just this week that the reason I didn’t have a woman was because my compass was all out of fuckin’ whack. It was leading me to the wrong type. Thank Christ I made a pit stop one night in a bar I made a habit of never visiting. I found my type all right and she’s a fuckin’ angel. Now step the fuck back so I can close this goddamn door and go and show my woman how fuckin’ thankful I am that you’re a greedy bitch who decided I wasn’t good enough for her.”

“I’m sure about that because you have the dirtiest mouth and mind of any woman I’ve ever met. It’s like you were made for me and if that’s the case, then I know the shit that runs through your mind.”

As I stepped through the bathroom doorway however, I found her. She was in the bath, plugged into her music with her eyes closed and her head resting on the edge of the bath.
I stopped and leaned against the wall with my arms folded across my chest. Watching her, my gaze travelled the length of her body. In the short time I’d known her, my appreciation of her body had grown. Where small tits hadn’t turned me on a month ago, I couldn’t get enough of hers.
Never letting me down, my dick grew hard while I took in her beauty.
“Fuck,” I muttered under my breath as I contemplated the wisdom of fucking her again.
I wanted to.
Hell, I fucking needed to.
She’s a brother’s sister for fuck’s sake.
I’d spent the last few hours going over and over that fact in my mind. My decision had been to head back to the motel, sleep on the couch and never taste her pussy again.
I hadn’t factored in having her naked body on display the minute I returned.
Shit.
“How long are you going to stand there staring at me?” she asked as she cracked an eye open to look at me.
“Until you get out and let me fuck you.” Both her eyes had opened and I pinned my gaze to hers, not letting her go.
Her eyebrows lifted. “I thought you were done with me.”
“Turns out I’m not.”
She stood and reached for her towel before stepping out. Continuing to hold my gaze, she slowly dried herself off.
Teasing the fuck out of my dick.
I fought the desire to reach out and rip the towel from her hands. My carefully constructed self-control was being tested and I knew it wouldn’t be long until I caved and took what I wanted.
Finally – finally – she finished drying off and closed the distance between us. “What if I’m done with you?” I knew she was full of shit by the breathless tone she used and the way her body leaned just that little bit too close to mine. It was like she was trying to hold herself back, but her body had a mind of its own and couldn’t stay away.
I lifted a brow. “Are you?”
“I should be. After the way you’ve been treating me, I really should be.” Still all breathy.
Still in this with me.
I unfolded my arms so I could curl my hand around her neck. Gripping her there, I said, “Yeah, you should be, but you’re not.”
I feel the same way.
With our faces so close that her breaths whispered across my skin, we stared at each other for a long time. The still air in the tiny bathroom consumed our apprehension piece by piece until all that was left was an unrelenting need to satisfy our hunger.
At the first sign of her softening, I tightened my hold on her neck and pulled her mouth to mine. She didn’t hesitate and a second later our bodies pressed together as hard as our mouths did.
The smell of her arousal overwhelmed me and I let her neck go so I could slide my hands around her ass and lift her. Turning, I held her up against the wall and groaned as she wrapped her legs around me. The urge to drive my cock as hard and fast as I could into her sweet cunt threatened to take over as the only thought in my mind, and I took a moment to work through that and get myself under control.
Resting my forehead against hers, I focused on my breathing while I gave myself a talking to.
Focus.
You’ve got this.
You’ve fucking done this enough times to know how to control yourself.
But I hadn’t.
I’d never fucked a woman like Carla.
Had never been with a woman who stole my control the way she did.
She invaded every fucking sense of mine until I didn’t know right from wrong, up from down, red from fucking blue.
“Havoc.”
My head snapped up and I found her staring at me.
Unsure.
“Are you okay?” she asked, lines creasing her forehead as she tilted her head, frowning at me.
I stepped back and let her go. “I need to slow this shit down.”
She stood naked in front of me with an expression on her face that seemed to be half confusion and half frustration. “What does that mean?”
I wasn’t sure I even knew.
“It means I want you sitting cross legged in the middle of the bed waiting for me while I take a minute,” I bit out. My head was so damn full I thought it might actually explode.
Too many thoughts.
Too many fucking feelings.
I jerked my chin at her and snapped, “Go.”
Her eyes widened a fraction and I pushed my breaths out while waiting for her to submit. When she didn’t, I growled, “Carla, I need you to go and sit on the bed. Now.”
“I’m giving you five minutes to get your head back in this. I’m all for bossy and shit, but I draw a line at whatever the fuck you call what you’ve got going on at the moment. Barking orders at me is a whole lot fucking different than dominating me.” With that, she stalked out of the bathroom.
Thank fuck.

#Review – Sinner’s Creed by @authorkimjones

SC Cover

First in a new series—welcome to the Sinner’s Creed Motorcycle Club, where hard bodies and hot leather are made for each other, and love gone wrong is the most irresistible of all…

“I was the demon-possessed monster and she was the innocent, naïve angel. But none of that matters. She asks, I give and right now, I’ll kill anyone who tries to stop me from giving this woman what she wants—me.”

Dirk lives in the shadows—performing hits, maintaining order, and upholding the no-holds-barred legacy of the Sinner’s Creed Motorcycle Club. A nomad with a restless spirit and a cold heart, the open road is his world. One of the few constants in his life: his desire for the one woman who has consumed his thoughts for years.

Saylor Samson grew up far from the harshness of Dirk’s world. But ever since she was seventeen she’s been drawn to this dark and mysterious man who always seemed to show up just when she needed him.

After years of fated encounters, he’s back. This time he’s taking her. This time she’s ready for the ride. But just when the darkness in Dirk’s life begins to fade, Saylor reveals a secret that puts them both to the ultimate test. Now, Dirk has to make a decision: submit to his destiny with the MC, or choose his own.

TWINSIE DEB’S REVIEW

Sinner’s Creed by Kim Jones
Dirk & Saylor
Innocence, Sexiness, Music, and Protectiveness
5 Mutha Effin’ Stars

This book is going on my TOP 10 list for 2016. It moved me in ways no other book has. It was a complete and utter drain on my emotional well being and I wouldn’t have it any other way! It was frightening yet amusing. It was happy yet gloomy. It made me jump out of my skin but then left goose bumps on my arms. So many mixed emotions and so much turmoil that I fear this book is not for the faint of heart. It is by far a dark and gritty read. I dare you to dive in! Warning: Have booze, smokes, and tissues!!

Saylor Samson is the epitome of innocence. She screams it and yet she defies it. She is my hero in every way. Faced with impossible odds, she stares down her demise and challenges it. She’s tough as nails, comical to a fault, and so damn cute it’s killing me. I especially adore the fact that she isn’t really frightened of Dirk (at least not after the initial meet) but welcomes him, accepts him, and has faith in him. A God fearing woman who isn’t afraid to take what she wants and pray for the rest! Love her!

Dirk Dixon – Sinner’s Creed nomad is all kinds of fucked up. He’s basically a hit man, although his purpose serves much more than that. He is now Saylor’s savior and mine too if you must know. He’s dangerous, he’s scandalous, and he’s sexy as hell! His hard exterior is penetrated only by one thing, and one thing only. Guess what? Yep, a beautiful blondie named Saylor. I find his surroundings comical at times, but as far as Dirk goes, I’m fairly certain his funny bone has been removed due to lack of use! You’re gonna crack the fuck up when you find out who is “first” was. Good one Kim!

The supporting character cast in this chaotic tale is somewhat big, but I really only want to talk about 3 people; Donnawayne and Jeffery, and Shady. Donnawayne and Jeffrey are Saylor’s two gay friends and the absolute best companions a girl could ever have. They take such good care of her, it’s amazing how people from all walks of life fit together so well. Now, Shady is just that…SHADY… He has exactly ONE friend and that’s Dirk. He’s always there even when you don’t really know it. He’s Dirk’s eyes and ears to things unknown! I see his book is next and I can’t wait to find out what twists and turns his life is going to take in Sinner’s Revenge.

To wrap this up and get my ass back to reading, I will say this.. Sinner’s Creed is so compelling that I could NOT put it down. The writing style of Kim Jones in this story was effortless to read. I was so drawn to Saylor and Dirk that their lives became my main concern. This is a dark, gritty romance, with tons of chaos and bedlam. It’s more emotional than you would think so get your tissues ready. The dialogue flows and sounds natural. The tension that Kim creates throughout the story leads you up to a climax that I will NEVER forget!

Prologue Kenzi one day old, Toren fifteen years old…“We want you to be her Godfather,” Asher says as he gently lays his newborn baby into my arms. I have to tear my gaze away from her incredible green eyes to look up at him from the chair I’m cradling the baby in.

“Yes, you,” they both say at the same time. “If it wasn’t for you, we probably never would have met,” Ember adds, grabbing Asher’s hand. “And we wouldn’t have this beautiful little baby. We know you’ll always protect her.”
