Great prequel. Looks like it could become a great book or series even. Clean cut girl has the desires of being naughty. This could become great and I really enjoyed the sneak peek of She Asked for It. I can’t wait to see where things go.

I receive this book from the author for an honest review.

I have been waiting for this book since we first met Marce!  I was so excited to finally get this book in my hands, so I could sit, and binge read it during a snowy day and evening.  This book was everything and then more then I could have hoped for.

Marce is the big sister who will do anything to make sure he siblings are well taken care of and provided for.  While doing this she is also keeping a huge secret from them regarding their mother and her past as the Madame of Craven House.  We know Marce has been seeing a dashing looking man and even warned her sisters away from this man but to finally get to know him….eeeeppppp so excited!!

However, once we got to KNOW the man was to not like the man.  His hate and need for revenge was crazy so I was wondering how in the heck Christina could make him likeable and even redeemable.  However, she does it and I felt my heart slowly melting for the Duke AKA Rowan AKA the blackmailer douche bag!!

Rowan lives his life by a black and white code.  EVERYTHING is in black and white so to see the Grey fringes that Marce lives in is not even thinkable.  Rowan has a lot of growing in this book as a person and as a man.  Marce has a lot of learning as well.  She learns that not all is what it seems and even the most confident man can be and will be broken at times.

I was so excited with how everything flowed with this book.  I loved Tobias and I especially loved Rowan’s mom.

First of all let me say that Ryan had me crying from the acknowledgments. I knew this release was going to be hard for her being the first without her beloved Dr. Hubby and I know she wanted to do him proud, but she has no worries there, I believe he would be extremely proud of her.
Second, Yay for Tabby’s brothers getting a series!!!
Dare is the middle of Collins brothers and owner of the Old Whiskey Bar and Restaurant. He is a man that runs his business, broods about his past, and lives for his weekends with his son. When his parents, who run the inn above his restaurant, tell the family that they are hiring a new innkeeper so that they can retire he gets even more brooding,
Kenzie Owens is the new innkeeper hired by the Owen’s family. She is starting a new life in a new town, a doing her best not to think about her old life, but her old life won’t leave her alone.
Dare is a bit of a jerk when they first are introduced, not that he really means to be. He is a man that doesn’t do change well and his parents just sprung hiring a new innkeeper on the family, so he’d have been a jerk to anyone really. He also is having a hard time with only getting his son one weekend a month.
Kenzie is attracted to Dare, and he to her, but is bound and determined not to let a man in her life again. These two just can’t help themselves and decide to get together and not put labels or anything on it, just take it day by day.
I love that Ryan always writes about her couples in situations that are totally real; they don’t just take one look at each other, fall in love and live happily ever after, there is screw ups, hard work, and forgiveness just like in real life.
Ryan also does a good job of letting us know more about Loch and Fox Collins too and we get to here from Tabby!!
I really was happy with the start of the Collin’s boys and I look forward to seeing more of them.

Looking back on 2017 I was able to read over 100 books. I did branch out out of my comfort zone and read a few books that were on the dark/suspenseful side for me. I have to say I did enjoy them. I also stuck to authors that I love and they they branched out in there writing giving me something different from their norm and they turned out great.  It was hard to pick just 10 favorites but this is my 2017 top 10 reads in no particular order.

Hey all! What am amazing year of books.  I have read some great books and it was really hard to narrow down to my top 5 books of the past 6 months but I think I have done it.     Now I am noticing that these books are all part of a series.  Trust me the series are AMAZING but these books I read the past 6 months.
