I knew I would love Addy\u2019s sass and spirit but I was so wrong.\u00a0 This book was 10 times better than I could have dreamed it to be.\u00a0 \u00a0This book is more than 5 stars.\u00a0 I mean if I could rate it 10 I would without even batting an eye.\u00a0 There was so much steam that it will melt your e-readers.\u00a0 There was so much chemistry that you will combust.\u00a0 There is so much hilarity from the two of them bickering while fighting this inevitable love, you will be laughing your butt off.<\/p>\n When we meet Luke in Book 1, he is dark and brooding.\u00a0 He is the perfect alpha right ladies??\u00a0 We all love the broken soul.\u00a0 He and Livia have a bond due to what they survived together and mainly from his actions.\u00a0 He carries that \u201caction\u201d on his soul.\u00a0 He feels he can never get an absolution from what he did to save his friend.<\/p>\n Addy is attracted to Luke from the start but sees his and Livvy\u2019s relationship as a loving one.\u00a0 She has no clue of the horrors they survived together so she marks him as a \u201cmentally unavailable guy\u201d because who wants to be 2nd place to another woman right???\u00a0 Addy has had enough of being 2nd<\/sup> choice that she will not be anything other than a man\u2019s first choice.<\/p>\n Luke is so cocky and arrogant but completely whipped by Addy.\u00a0 He sees her and knows she is the color he needs in his dark life.\u00a0 She is his everything and he will fight this war to convince her that she is his future.\u00a0 Addy is pushing and fighting and denying all that Luke does to prove to her that she is IT for him.\u00a0 OMG the things he does for her\u2026..melts any girls heart but she still has those lingering fears and doubts.<\/p>\n They go all in and then have to deal with the past showing up and ruining the future they fought so hard to make happen.\u00a0 We also get to see Ash and his love plus Gray, Livvy and the babies.\u00a0 I am super excited to see the boy\u2019s mom getting some romance in her life.
