I received this book from the author for an honest review.<\/p>\n

Oh boy\u2026the last book in the series\u2026are you sure Cat????\u00a0 I mean us Die Hard Shaft Addict would love to see another book from you\u2026.le Sigh\u2026we just can\u2019t let go of the guys and their ladies.\u00a0 But really I wanna see Jazzie grown up and have her giving Hunter one heck of a time!!\u00a0 LOL<\/p>\n

This book is about Mack\/Dominique the 2nd<\/sup> in command security guy.\u00a0 You remember him.\u00a0 The one Hunter loves to teaser relentlessly\u2026..yeah him that ginger headed hottie.\u00a0 Well the love and biggest regret of his life just so happens to be the new bass player Ireland.\u00a0 Well friends Mack was a total DB to her and this caused Ireland\u00a0 to became the cold woman that she is today because of what he does to her when they were 17\u2026.8 long years ago.<\/p>\n

Ireland lived as a privileged girl and falls in love with the biggest loser on the planet\u2026his world people.\u00a0 When he breaks her heart and leaves her. she changes and hardens her heart but always carries the torch for him.\u00a0 Granted the torch is full of hate at first but as they say a thin line between love and hate.\u00a0 When he is put in charge of her security, she makes him pay for every tear she ever shed about him.<\/p>\n

Mack is a mess.\u00a0 He can\u2019t believe his sweet girl is now THIS woman.\u00a0 He does all he can to try and reconnect with her but does the stupid Fist bumping with Hunter after some loving and back in the dog house he goes.<\/p>\n

I liked the story and loved how the whole cast was front and center for the last story along with our main H\/h.\u00a0 We got to see everyone and a glimpse into the Shaft future.\u00a0 To be truthful, I gotta say Jazzie STOLE the book.\u00a0 She made each scene the best.\u00a0 When she \u201ctook away Mack\u2019s super powers\u201d, that scene made my heart hurt\u2026but otherwise Jazzie was the best part of the book by far.<\/p>\n
