It moved me in ways no other book has. It was a complete and utter drain on my emotional well being and I wouldn’t have it any other way! It was frightening yet amusing. It was happy yet gloomy. It made me jump out of my skin but then left goose bumps on my arms. So many mixed emotions and so much turmoil that I fear this book is not for the faint of heart. It is by far a dark and gritty read. I dare you to dive in! Warning: Have booze, smokes, and tissues!!<\/p>\n Saylor Samson is the epitome of innocence. She screams it and yet she defies it. She is my hero in every way. Faced with impossible odds, she stares down her demise and challenges it. She’s tough as nails, comical to a fault, and so damn cute it’s killing me. I especially adore the fact that she isn’t really frightened of Dirk (at least not after the initial meet) but welcomes him, accepts him, and has faith in him. A God fearing woman who isn’t afraid to take what she wants and pray for the rest! Love her!<\/p>\n Dirk Dixon – Sinner’s Creed nomad is all kinds of fucked up. He’s basically a hit man, although his purpose serves much more than that. He is now Saylor’s savior and mine too if you must know. He’s dangerous, he’s scandalous, and he’s sexy as hell! His hard exterior is penetrated only by one thing, and one thing only. Guess what? Yep, a beautiful blondie named Saylor. I find his surroundings comical at times, but as far as Dirk goes, I’m fairly certain his funny bone has been removed due to lack of use! You’re gonna crack the fuck up when you find out who is “first” was. Good one Kim!<\/p>\n The supporting character cast in this chaotic tale is somewhat big, but I really only want to talk about 3 people; Donnawayne and Jeffery, and Shady. Donnawayne and Jeffrey are Saylor’s two gay friends and the absolute best companions a girl could ever have. They take such good care of her, it’s amazing how people from all walks of life fit together so well. Now, Shady is just that…SHADY… He has exactly ONE friend and that’s Dirk. He’s always there even when you don’t really know it. He’s Dirk’s eyes and ears to things unknown! I see his book is next and I can’t wait to find out what twists and turns his life is going to take inSinner’s Revenge<\/a>.<\/p>\n To wrap this up and get my ass back to reading, I will say this.. Sinner’s Creed is so compelling that I could NOT put it down. The writing style of Kim Jones in this story was effortless to read. I was so drawn to Saylor and Dirk that their lives became my main concern. This is a dark, gritty romance, with tons of chaos and bedlam. It’s more emotional than you would think so get your tissues ready. The dialogue flows and sounds natural. The tension that Kim creates throughout the story leads you up to a climax that I will NEVER forget!<\/p>\n ARC provided by Author and Publisher for an honest review<\/em><\/p>\n In 2013, Kim began her self-publishing journey.
