This book!\u00a0 The dang anxiety and stress of these beautifully flawed characters.\u00a0 I mean FOR REALZ!!\u00a0 I was a hot mess.\u00a0 My stomach was in KNOTS.\u00a0 I was dying for them to TALK and then KISS let along fall in love!!\u00a0 GAH!!!!\u00a0 Well written Mr. Banner, VERY WELL WRITTEN!!!<\/p>\n The book is about Dessie who runs to a smaller Texas university to study theater.\u00a0 She is a child of theater celebrities and is stuck in the family name shadow.\u00a0 She wants to hide out essentially and make it on her own. \u00a0She spies a talk dark cup of water and is flustered by him. She can\u2019t understand why this stranger has her so mixed up.\u00a0 When she gets up and sings at a bar, she gets the confidence to stroll over, mic in hand, to sing to him but he LEAVES!!\u00a0 SAY WHAT????<\/p>\n Clayton is deaf and angry.\u00a0 He uses his disability to push people away.\u00a0 He has been broken by a theater women in the past and refuses to go that road again and then he sees Dessie. The way she goes out of her way to communicate with him after learning he is deaf\u2026..yup I said \u201cAWWW\u201d.\u00a0 He is a mess because he wants to see what happens but he can\u2019t let another woman break him.<\/p>\n People, the FEELs of this book were off the hook.\u00a0 I was screaming at the character to JUST KISS ALREADY so many times.\u00a0 Then when we thought our couple was on the right track something or some \u201cskeleton in their closets\u201d came flying out.\u00a0 OMG they have both been burned and are full of fear.\u00a0 They want to experience what the other has to offer but fear and doubt can really wreak havoc on a person.<\/p>\n Can I tell you how freaking excited I am at book 2??\u00a0 OMG Brant\u2026..for real though.\u00a0 I can\u2019t wait to see this woman who kicks the man whores butt into submission!!!<\/p>\n Daryl Banner is an author and composer who graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Theatre and Psychology. He writes new adult romance, M\/M romance, post-apocalyptic fantasy, and dystopian.
