But first, he needed to prove to Miri that the chemistry between them was worth being pursued, and that he wanted to be\u2026More Than a Friend.<\/p>\n Goodreads<\/a><\/p>\n Amazon<\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n I received this book from the author for an honest review.<\/p>\n Bentley\u2026wow sorry Dean but we are breaking up.\u00a0 Yeah the younger guy caught my eye last book but this book he won my heart way over.<\/p>\n Bentley is the town man whore.\u00a0 He is kinda proud of it in my opinion.\u00a0 He can have whoever whenever.\u00a0 At his brother\u2019s wedding he is thrown together, thanks to Julia, with Miri.\u00a0 He is stunned at how beautiful this wall flower was from the memories he has of her from high school.<\/p>\n Miri met Bentley on one of the worst days of her life in high school but his kind heart made her heart flutter for the past 10 years.\u00a0 No way does he even remember her or even give her the time of day.\u00a0 No Bentley is purely a fantasy for her.<\/p>\n When the two hang out at the wedding, Bentley can feel the desire coming off Miri so he does his \u201cusual\u201d with a girl but even though she REALLY wants to do the usual back, she says no.\u00a0 She friend zoned him.\u00a0 WHAT? No one says no.\u00a0 He is Bentley.\u00a0 Well Bentley decides to be a \u201cfriend\u201d all the while thinking this will get him into Miri\u2019s bed.\u00a0 However, the more time he spends with her, the more he grows to *Gasp* need her and *Double Gasp* LOVE HER!!\u00a0 NO way.\u00a0 How can he love someone like her?\u00a0 She is everything he can never be.<\/p>\n Miri can\u2019t believe Bentley agreed to be her friend.\u00a0 She thinks he has ulterior motives but figures once he realizes she won\u2019t move forward to his bed, he will lose interest.\u00a0 She is stunned stupid to see this man whore has a soft, genuine and kind nature that he hides from other people.\u00a0 Soon she is so confused because she can\u2019t lose him.<\/p>\n The couple are stuck.\u00a0 Both are afraid to push the friendship limits because they think the other isn\u2019t feeling the MORE.\u00a0 When Miri\u2019s past comes back Bentley has to put up or shut up.<\/p>\n OMG the epilogue\u2026typical Bentley comments when he gives her a gift.\u00a0 I was loving it and it made me giggle so hard.\u00a0 This book has so much freaking intensity and chemistry.\u00a0 The couple will go down as a favorite of mine for sure.<\/p>\n Amber is a stay at home mom currently residing in Southern Indiana with her husband and two beautiful daughters.
