No it wasn’t a half-naked man….drool….\u00a0 It was the back of a run-a-way bride.\u00a0 Some serious shit must have happened and my curiosity was piqued.<\/div>\n<\/div>\nThe book starts with very vivid account of Zander and his last tour in Afghanistan. What these men and women have seen and had to do is nothing short of heroic and commendable.\u00a0 The last tour which was what ended Zander’s military career leaving him dealing with the loss of all but one of his buddies and the loss of one of his legs.\u00a0 Zander struggles with PTSD and pushes family and friends away.<\/div>\n<\/div>\nColbie is in her wedding dress.\u00a0 She comes from money and is marrying money. Her husband to be is abusive.\u00a0 Colbie is a shell of the person she wants to be.\u00a0 So not to disappoint others, Colbie walks down the isle and just at the nick of time she stands up for herself and runs from the church.<\/div>\n<\/div>\nZander and Colbie’s lives crash into each other. \u00a0 Both have baggage from their past molding their attitudes and behaviors.\u00a0 The story line is awesome. It brings you along their journey from broken with baggage and alone to restored pieces with baggage and together.<\/div>\n<\/div>\nNever fear, the challenges they face are daunting and the appearance of Colbie’s ex adds suspense.\u00a0 No relationship is ever easy or without baggage.\u00a0 It’s all in how you help your significant other carry theirs while they help you carry yours.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<\/a>Mika Jolie is the bestselling author of the Martha\u2019s Way series.
