I received this book from the author for an honest review.<\/p>\n

Mason, Mason, Mason!!\u00a0 WOW What a DOUCHE you can be!!\u00a0 I mean we got a glimpse of it during Zach\u2019s book but man o man can you hurt a woman!!\u00a0 Valentine\u2019s Day \u2026.REALLY!!!!?????\u00a0 *sigh*<\/p>\n

This book is a cross over from book 1 in scenes so if you haven\u2019t read book 1 you can totally read this and understand what happened in book 1.\u00a0 It also didn\u2019t make me annoyed at the overlay from the previous book like some books can because we are getting a new view of the story.<\/p>\n

So Shondra and Mason end up sitting by each other on the plane to their vacation.\u00a0 They have an instant love-hate kinda thing that turns into a fun fling.\u00a0 Mason is up front that one night is all he is going to give and Shondra is ok\u2026.at first.\u00a0 As the vacation goes we can see Mason warring with himself over his attraction and need for Shondra but his past prevents him from trying to move forward with her\u00a0 His past has him in cement boots.<\/p>\n

Shondra is one of the most amazing characters you can read.\u00a0 She is funny, independent and kind but she is so lonely.\u00a0 She is in need of a one true love to be with her and stay with her.\u00a0 She has never been had anyone to love her unconditionally except her best friend Erica.<\/p>\n

This book has me so angry at Mason and wanting to hire his brother Dane to castrate him.\u00a0 It also made me want to push Shondra to Dane because is a great guy.\u00a0 He is a guy who could love her and be the one but we all know \u2026the heart wants what the heart wants and Shondra\u2019s heart wants Mason.\u00a0 When Shondra has had enough and walks away, it killed me and her but when Mason realized his girl was gone\u2026\u2026Oh man did I love how she has found her spirt again to put him in his place!!!<\/p>\n

The mystery in this book was great.\u00a0 The twists and turn combined with the drama from book 1 had you wondering when the bullets would stop flying.\u00a0 When it all shook out in the end and we see and find out WHY everything was happening I realized I could finally BREATH for a second!!\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 I loved this book and prolly a little bit more then book 1 because the emotional torture Mason puts us in is worth the ride\u2026plus seeing him fall was even more worth it.<\/p>\n
