Omg!! So book 2 picks up where book one ends, Alynna and Alex’s wedding.
\nCady Gray is the Alpha’s Human Liaison, sort of like his executive assistant. They’ve known each other since they were kids because her father held that position for his father.
\nNick Vrost is the beta of New York and head of security. These two have danced around each other for years. Nick has kept his distance because the alpha thinks of her as a sister and Cady because she didn’t think that Nick was interested.
\nOne thing I found out in this book; True Mates are not only a rare thing but apparently a very magical thing that all magic beings feel.
\nAnyone can be a True Mate to a lycan, it doesn’t have to be two lycan.
\nSo many things happen in this book. Witches are introduced further, we find out who was behind the attempts on Alynna life, we met Nick’s grandfather who gives him a ultimatum to find a wife and have children or he is going to be out of the will.
\nOh, and Cady and Nick start dream walking!!
\nI think the struggle that Nick has to go through, of whether he follows his heart or listens to his grandfather is a tough one. I am so glad that I would never have to go through that.
\nCady mother returns and it isn’t a happy return as she is a witch and witches and lycan do not get along. She also has given a ultimatum, that Cady will leave the employ of them or it will be forced. Her mom, is not a good woman, in fact why don’t we just call her a power hungry b***h. She works with a evil blood mage who is out to get the True Mates, because he hates lycan and because of the magic that makes a True Mated pair.
\nI love Cady and Nick when they are together, they’re so sweet. The chemistry between them is off the charts too!! There is a scene in the hotel during the blood moon wowza, that was a hot one!!!
\nI will say In the end Cady is a better woman that me because I would have made Nick grovel for at least a week.
\nWanna know why he need to grovel??? Well I’m not telling, ya gotta read the book.
\nThe next book is Grant, the New York alpha. Will he find is True Mate? Will he put a end to the evil Mage after the True Mated pairs? I can’t wait to find out!!<\/p>\n
