Are you willing to take the risk?<\/i> Goodreads<\/a><\/p>\n Amazon<\/a><\/p>\n <\/p>\n I received this book from the author for an honest review.<\/p>\n Ok so I love Historical books.\u00a0 When my friend tells me \u201cYou need this book in your life\u201d I grab it when the author offers me a copy ANNNND I owe my friend a big ol\u2019 high 5.\u00a0 I loved this book!!\u00a0 Now I will admit I was a BIT sad that there weren\u2019t any Dukes or Lords because that is the only historicals I have read.\u00a0 HOWEVER, after I settled in to the story I was totally digging it.\u00a0 It was like mafia families meets Romeo and Juliet.\u00a0 How in the heck is that possible you ask?\u00a0 Dude I have no clue but it just WAS!!\u00a0 And I think that is why I ended up loving it.\u00a0 Romeo and Juliet is awesome and then you throw in the Sopranos\u2026GOLD!<\/p>\n Mina and Charlie are best friends BUT, yup you guess it, they are in rival gangs.\u00a0 Now the two gangs are at an uneasy truce but when someone says something to Mina that is \u201cnot appropriate to the Princess of the King family\u201d\u2026ALL OUT WAR happens because Charlie defends her honor\u2026.sigh\u2026so sweet.<\/p>\n The book is about Mina not giving up on Charlie and trying to figure out a way to be with the man she loves\u2026.FYI I love her plan.\u00a0 I mean I died when she went to tell him her thoughts and his stunned expression\u2026..BEST. EVER!!<\/p>\n I loved the ending and Charlie\u2019s thought about his past, present and future\u2026..gotta say I might have gotten a bit misty because he may have been a bad man but his heart is pure sugar.<\/p>\n This is the 4th<\/sup> book in a series.\u00a0 I have not read any of the books.
