Happiness. Can you be happy without love? I’ve been pretty happy. It’s been a year since my divorce was final and months since Maddox left. In that time I’ve felt joy, happiness, accomplishment, and I didn’t need love to feel any of that.<\/p>\n

I can live the rest of my life like this. It’s not a huge challenge filling my physical needs. I just have to dodge the ones who think they can convince me that they are the one good man. The one that truly loves me, the one that’s different than all the rest. Call me bitchy if you must, but I have a hard time containing my laughter when they start in on that speech.
