Tell us your name and then a bit about yourself.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I’m NJ Cole. I’m probably like most authors on here. Writing is my second career. I’ve published 8 books. I’m a mom and I’ve been married for 22 years. My husband is also my Dom. We attend a BDSM club weekly. I’ve really learned to explore that part of myself and bring it to my writing. Recently I’ve started writing about my personal experiences and sending it out in my newsletter. <\/span><\/p>\n

When and Why did you start to write?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

I started to write fan fiction and I still do. I always have something out there for free. It just kind of spiraled out of control after that.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is the most surprising thing you have found out with the writing process?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

I’ve found out that I can’t read and write at the same time. If I stop to read a book, I can’t get back into my own writing for a few weeks. It’s a bummer for a girl who loves to read and write.<\/span><\/p>\n

What are you working on now?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

I’m still working on a story called Milk Money. It’s a fan fiction, but it’s also going to be published. I’m working on the sequel to it now. In addition, I like to role play. Some of my role plays can be published. This summer I hope to put out at least two books. <\/span><\/p>\n

When writing are you a pantser or plotter?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

I assume that means writing by the seat of my pants? And that is me. I know the beginning, and then I let the characters tell me as I go. Once I was near the ending and I was like, “Ohhhhh, so that’s why the hurricane had to be named Abby!” I do often roll my own eyes at myself. <\/span><\/p>\n
