I was given a copy of the book for an honest review.<\/p>\n

The four close friends were talking and gossiping at the end of Tilda’s wedding to Lord Abercorn.\u00a0 Giggles and happiness filled the room.\u00a0 The girls decided that they had better go to bed and send Tilda to her wedding bed.\u00a0 Before the girls got to their rooms, thud.\u00a0 They looked to find their dear friend not moving at the bottom of the stairs dead.\u00a0 Luci just knew it was the doing of Abercorn.\u00a0 Ophelia, Luci, and Edith set out to prove it.\u00a0 Edith was the snoopy, stalker.\u00a0 To spy on Abercorn, she climbed the tree and found him with an unknown woman.\u00a0 Edith feel from the tree and landed at the feet of Tristan Torrington. \u00a0 Tristan got quite a show seeing the fair Edith with her dress over her head.\u00a0 What a way to start a connection. Yes, sparks flew.\u00a0<\/div>\n

The girls were determined to pin Tilda’s death on Abercorn.\u00a0 They just knew he had something to do with her untimely passing.\u00a0 The twist was Tristan’s ex-fianc\u00e9 was his step-mother. Esme broke of their engagement and married his father.\u00a0 Tristan only put up with being in his father’s house only to provide his two sisters with proper chaperoning to be introducted to society.\u00a0 Horrible Esme was bragging about trying to get pregnant and they knew they would be moved to the country and not able to wed suitable men.<\/div>\n

As time past, Edith kept after Abercorn and his actions.\u00a0 In doing so, she would continue to “bump” into Triston.\u00a0 Edith was losing her heart to Tristan.\u00a0 He didn’t know it and thought he wouldn’t be acceptable given his past.\u00a0 Tristan was losing his heart to Edith and risked his well being to save Edith when she came up missing.\u00a0 The “bread crumb” trail was left by Edith’s abductor…..the evil Esme.\u00a0 Of course our hero wins the heart and future of our heroine…our HEA.<\/div>\n

I enjoyed the story line and wanted to find out how Abercorn was involved with Tilda’s death.\u00a0 We still don’t know how he was involved…yet.\u00a0 With the warped mind of Esme, could it have been her.\u00a0 Luci is against men that treat women poorly.\u00a0 Did something happen in her past to provide her with her thought process.\u00a0 Will Luci’s open up to being able to find her HEA? Will Ophelia find hers?<\/div>\n
