I can relate to this story. I was in the navy and was married to an abuser. Shari made you feel everything Daphne felt, she takes you through the ups and downs. The joy and fear. I couldn’t put it down. I bought it today and had to read. If reading about abuse triggers a bad reaction then this isn’t a book to read. Its a happily ever after but getting there is painful.
