All he has to do is befriend the Senator\u2019s daughter\u2014a woman with no friends, no social skills, who\u2019s past traumas are even worse than his own\u2026and on top of all that, she\u2019s the most beautiful woman he\u2019s ever seen.<\/p>\n<p>As Ryan manipulates his way into April\u2019s life, he discovers he\u2019d do anything to release her from the cage she lives within.<\/p>\n<p>But when he slips and April discovers her father\u2019s plan\u2014and Ryan\u2019s part in it, he must face the consequences of his betrayal and a possible future without the woman he loves.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/twinsietalk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Buy-Links.png\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6156\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/twinsietalk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Buy-Links.png?resize=158%2C45\" alt=\"\" width=\"158\" height=\"45\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/2nxdXab\">\u00a0Amazon\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/twinsietalk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/angies-review.png\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6154\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/twinsietalk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/angies-review.png?resize=230%2C50\" alt=\"\" width=\"230\" height=\"50\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I received the book from the author for an honest review.<\/p>\n<p>GAH!!\u00a0 So I admit I am a fan of Jillian so I went into this not really knowing what the book was about\u2026Lazy to not look up the blurb but I love her stories sooooooo I opened the book on a road trip.\u00a0 I couldn\u2019t put it down.\u00a0 I kept asking \u201care we there yet?\u201d not because I wanted to get out of the car but because I wanted to make sure I would get the book finished before we arrived at our destination!!!<\/p>\n<p>I loved the concept of Ryan and Aril.\u00a0 They both have dark stories and broken hearts.\u00a0 They both look to lean on each other to heal their wounds.<\/p>\n<p>Ryan is approached by April\u2019s father to befriend his quirky and damaged daughter.\u00a0 He needs to get her out of her darkness and maybe back to some semblance of \u201cnormal\u201d by today\u2019s society.\u00a0 Ryan takes the job and thinks that because he has a \u201cway\u201d to charm the ladies it will be cake.\u00a0 Little does he know that April will be the one woman who will not fall for his charms but fall for his heart.<\/p>\n<p>April is a broken woman who is living with shame and guilt.\u00a0 She doesn\u2019t know how to shake the demons but when Ryan offers her a lifeline to enter a normal friendship, she takes it.\u00a0 She is scared outta her mind and is confused as all get but she wants to be a good person.\u00a0 She finally has the desire to BE A PERSON again.<\/p>\n<p>The storyline of their friendship soon turns to love and then they must face some challenges.\u00a0 He is going away to college but her family secrets finally come to light as well.\u00a0 The two begin a downward spiral.\u00a0 When I finished the book, I felt for April.\u00a0 I understood everything she was saying.\u00a0 I also felt for Ryan because I understood everything he was saying.\u00a0 I can\u2019t wait to open the next book because I need resolution to their story and a final HEA.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/twinsietalk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/about-the-author.png\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6153\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/twinsietalk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/about-the-author.png?resize=231%2C55\" alt=\"\" width=\"231\" height=\"55\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Take a Romantic Adventure with Jillian Jacobs<\/p>\n<p>I write Paranormal and Contemporary romance.
