This is a prequel to a new shifter series by Alicia Montgomery and as you can tell from the title it\u2019s not about wolves.
\nHank Lennox is just as the title says the last dragon in a town founded by his ancestor. The town of Blackstone is special in that all shifters are welcome and the Lennox Corporation that mines the second hardest material in the world Blackstone. The Lennox Corporation also employs shifters and pays for everything the town has from schools, to the town\u2019s infrastructure.
\nAs the last dragon Hank needs a wife and since he isn\u2019t dating anyone and everyone knows that dragons aren\u2019t like other shifters and have one true mate, he decides to acquire one who\u2019s father needs help.
\nRiva Sinclair comes home to find her fianc\u00e9 has damaged her family\u2019s company, is wanted by the FBI, and has ran off.
\nThe only way to save the company is be agreeing to marry and give a heir to Hank.
\nRiva finds herself married to a grouchy dragon with a *itchy sister in law and living in a run down castle. When the two of them start communicating they realize they actually like each other, maybe even love each other, and Hank even realizes that the myths about dragons not having a real mate aren\u2019t true, because Riva is his.
\nThis story does it\u2019s job of setting the storyline for Montgomery\u2019s new series. A series that is going to be a mix of shifters is awesome and I can\u2019t wait for it.
