Maggie Adams is an Amazon Best Selling romance author. Her first book in the Tempered Steel Series, Whistlin\u2019 Dixie, debuted in Amazon\u2019s Top 100 for Women\u2019s Fiction, humor, on November 2014. Since then, she has consistently made the Amazon best seller 5-star list with her Tempered Steel Series. Her series has launched the tiny town of Grafton, Illinois, into international recognition with sales in Mexico, Ireland, Scotland, Australia and the UK. She is the recipient of the Dayreader Reviews Best of 2015 for Leather and Lace, the Readers Favorite Award for Something\u2019s Gotta Give in 2016, the Indie Romance Convention Romantic Comedy Award 2017 for Forged in Fire and the 2017 New Apple Awards nomination \u2013 Suspense for Cold as Ice.

What authors do you always read or suggest to others?<\/strong><\/p>\n

So many new indie authors are fabulous reads! It’s opened up the writer’s imagination to take readers to many fantastic places! I found Lexi Blake, Shayla Black, Chelle Bliss, Mina Carter, Selena Kitt, Alexandra Ivy, Kallypso Masters, Shannon Nemechek, and Maria Vickers just to name a few.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is the most surprising thing you have found out with the writing process?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I thought I was a fairly organized person until I started trying to market my books. Trying to figure out what works and what doesn’t is a trying process. Then remembering to focus on that and not get distracted (by other author’s great new releases, usually!).
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

What are you working on now?<\/strong><\/p>\n

2018 will bring the conclusion to my Lustful Trilogy, book seven in the Tempered Steel Series, a paranormal spinoff to the series, and a romantic comedy for women entitled, “Minx.<\/span><\/p>\n
