I was give a copy of the book for my honest review.<\/p>\n

The four musketeers, Jake, Conor, Jarret, and Lorne, grew up together in a joint home with their fathers.\u00a0 Both of their mother\u2019s were killed in an automobile accident when they were young. Jake and Conor were a couple.\u00a0 On Conor\u2019s 16th birthday, Jake and Conor were going to take their relationship to the ultimate intimate level and Jarret and Lorne were going to be the look out team.\u00a0 Jake and Conor\u2019s relationship was not condoned by the fathers. Jake had a bit of a bondage desire….hmmm….a cowboy with a liking to rope. \u00a0 That rope desire played in the special night of coming that Jake had planned.\u00a0 Someone had other plans….before Jake and Conor could become one, there were attacked.\u00a0 Conor was brutally raped while Jake had to endure by watching.\u00a0 Jarret and Lorne were able to get loose and get Jake loose and they chased down the abusers.\u00a0 During the chase, Lorne shot and killed a man.\u00a0 He was arrested and jailed for the murder.<\/p>\n

Pam weaved the story of the after math of Conor\u2019s rape and Lorne\u2019s incarceration in the way Pam does best – twists and turns.\u00a0 When Jake has things in place, he brings Conor back to the ranch.\u00a0 The deep love Jake has for Conor is unmistakable.\u00a0 He has done his homework to help Conor address and work through her triggers from the rape and events following.<\/p>\n

After the rape, the group make a pact to end any torment of Conor by her jailed rapist once he was released from prison.<\/p>\n

I thoroughly enjoyed Jake and Conor\u2019s story and look forward to reading about Jarret and Lorne\u2019s stories.<\/p>\n
