When the last book ended we see the beginning of Pax and Laurel.\u00a0 Just that final scene alone tells us their relationship will be volatile in the best of ways!!\u00a0 I mean to show up waving a gun at the man you love\u2026that shows passion, right????<\/p>\n

Pax has loved Laurel as long as he can remember.\u00a0 She never looks down on him for being an orphan and has always been the light to his dark world. When his underworld dealings come crashing into her life, he does all he can to protect and FINALLY Claim what is his\u2026.HER!<\/p>\n

Laurel has loved Pax as long as she can remember but his hot and cold plus the shredding her young heart has always made her heart guarded when he is near.\u00a0 When Pax takes all of her money and kidnaps her, she is none to thrilled even IF she is 110% in love with him.<\/p>\n

The dynamic of the two is awesome to read.\u00a0 They both keep each other totally honest and open even when they don\u2019t want to admit what they are feeling. \u00a0\u00a0When Laurel learns of the danger she is in, she trusts Pax to keep her safe and even opens to heart to all the love she has for him.<\/p>\n

Pax finally gets the girl of his dreams to FREAK OUT but gotta love Laurel for not letting him back to quickly.\u00a0 She is going to make sure he knows she is in control even after everything he did to her and for her.<\/p>\n

The build up for Dane\u2019s books had me very interested in seeing what our favorite assassin has going on to make his cool demeanor all stressed out.<\/p>\n
