Hello all!! Summer is here and with it is that lovely heat and humidity we love so much, NOT!!<\/p>\n

I am here to let you know my Top 5 of the year so far and man I really haven\u2019t branched out much these last few month, however that just means I know what I like or real life happened and I couldn\u2019t read a lot.\u00a0 <\/span>Either way I love these ladies that I\u2019m gonna tell you about and hopefully you will enjoy them too.\u00a0 <\/span>So, here they are in no particular order my Top 5.<\/p>\n

Axel Walker, also known as the Assassin, was a half-breed so his loyalty lay with the highest bidder. Who had the most money to hand him at the end of a job was the side he was on whether human or vampire. His highest pay day was yet to come and all he had to do was kill the one they call the Slayer of Vampires.<\/p>\n

The Slayer and the Assassin become players in a tangled web of deceit. It is Karma and Axel who have to decide whether killing each other is the best plan of action or joining forces to take out those who dare make them pawns in their dangerous games.<\/p>\n

The Bad Girl series is a 2018\/2019 collaboration between 13 authors releasing one book a month about kiss-ass women with a penchant for being bad, Teresa Gabelman gives us May\u2019s Bad girl with Karma\u2019s Revenge.<\/p>\n

OMG!!! If anyone knows how to write about hot Vampires it\u2019s Teresa Gabelman.<\/p>\n

Someone is going around town and killing vampires and now the Slayer of Vampires has a price on her head.<\/p>\n

Sophie Deluce is looking for the vampire that killed her sister and left her stuffed next to the toilet in a public bathroom.\u00a0 <\/span>In doing so she has made the vampires so nervous that they put a contract out for her and assassin Axel Walker has her number, however once he she\u2019s her and finds out her reasons he returns the money and decides to help her get her man.<\/p>\n

I was\u00a0 <\/span>excepting some of Gabelman\u2019s VC Warriors to show up, the story was so good!!!!<\/p>\n

Sophie is one kick a** woman who needs this to get justice for her sister and no one is going to stop her.\u00a0 <\/span>I love how she sticks to what she wants even knowing there is a price on her head, so with the help of a half-breed assassin and her drag queen best friend she continues on her mission.<\/p>\n

I swear Gabelman does vampires like no one else and I wouldn\u2019t mind seeing more of Axel and Sophie.<\/p>\n

First let me say, Oh My Good Gravy, I love when these three ladies minds get together!!!<\/p>\n

This is the start of the second collection of the Doms of her Life Series.\u00a0 <\/span>The first is Raine Falling, you don\u2019t have to read the first to understand the second, but there is some intersecting timelines and the characters from the first do make appearances in the second.\u00a0 <\/span>Speaking as someone who has read the first it\u2019s not one to miss because it\u2019s yummy goodness!!<\/p>\n

Now onto Beck, Seth, and Heavenly.<\/p>\n

Beck is Dr. Kenneth Beckman vascular surgeon and a sadist who is a Master at Shadows.<\/p>\n

Seth Cooper is a New York PI in LA to help out his friends Hammer, Liam, and Raine, he is also a Dom, but isn\u2019t a sadist.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Heavenly Young is a nursing student that volunteers at the hospital that Beck works at.<\/p>\n

One look is all it takes for the two men to fall for the innocent Heavenly. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

These ladies do a great job of bringing alpha men that make you want to both smack them and swoon at their feet to life.<\/p>\n

Beck begins being in her life as a much needed friend and Seth by taking her out on a couple dates, however, when she tells Seth that she also has feelings for Beck the jealous butthead runs home to New York, where he spends weeks being miserable.<\/p>\n

Once Beck thinks that Seth is out of the picture he begins to date her , then Seth comes back to town.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Heavenly can\u2019t choose between them so the two men agree to each date her until such time as she can.\u00a0 <\/span>What happens next is a lot of yelling at your reading device or book as the men in the story can be a**hats!!! Lol!!<\/p>\n

Also, Heavenly has some things that she hasn\u2019t told her men and when they finally find out they are not happy with her in the slightest.<\/p>\n

There are also some things that Beck hasn\u2019t discussed either that are gonna bite him in the butt when Heavenly does find out.<\/p>\n

I was so not happy to see the end of this story and was even more upset to see that I\u2019d have to wait until 2019!!! AHHHHHHHHH!!<\/p>\n

Get this book you won\u2019t regret it, better yet get the first collection and this book, you definitely won\u2019t regret it.<\/p>\n

We are back with Brett and Evie!!\u00a0 <\/span>Years of marriage, three kids, and these two are still hot as heck together!!\u00a0 <\/span>Oh, and we get top see our very favorite sadist therapist!!!!<\/p>\n

The past has come back in a big way to possibly screw up the life that they have built and let me just say that I felt just about all the feels with this one.<\/p>\n

With all they went through in the previous stories to get and stay together I really thought that Walker was going to end this couple, I \u00a0 <\/span>mean how much more can two people take, and the ending?? Omg, please make sure you have tissues handy for that because you will need them and a strong drink when your done.<\/p>\n

Walker has done a freaking mind f*** with this one so hold onto your hats\u00a0 <\/span>ladies and gents its going to be a bumpy ride.<\/p>\n

Oh, and afterwards there is the story of Brett and Evie meeting for the first time, but told from his POV.\u00a0 <\/span>It\u2019s awesome!!<\/p>\n

My favorite family of Inked and bearded men are back, this time though it\u2019s a different branch of the Montgomery family tree, Carrie Ann Ryan gives us Montgomery Ink: Colorado Springs!!!!<\/p>\n

Ryan us blessed the world with the Montgomery cousins and I am one happy camper!!!<\/p>\n

On this branch of the family tree we have Adrienne, Shephard, Thea, and Roxie. \u00a0 <\/span>Shep has already had his story told in Ink Inspired which was the start of the whole obsession that is Montgomery Ink.\u00a0 <\/span>Now it\u2019s Adrienne\u2019s turn and the start of Colorado Springs.<\/p>\n

Maya and Austin, from the Denver Montgomery\u2019s, are spreading their tattooed wings and opening a second tattoo studio called Montgomery Ink Too or MIT.\u00a0 <\/span>Adrienne and Shep are part owners of it with their family as well as the managers.<\/p>\n

Adrienne is a tattoo artist and along with her bestie Mace, her brother, and friends they have MIT\u2019s grand opening but it\u2019s interrupted by some stranger saying that they aren\u2019t welcome and that they wouldn\u2019t be there long.<\/p>\n

Mace Knight is Adrienne\u2019s best friend, a tattoo artist, and a weekend dad to his daughter.\u00a0 <\/span>He is also a hot bearded silver fox!!!!!<\/p>\n

Out of the blue his ex leaves the country and leaving him a full time father to the daughter he loves, so having to learn to become a full time father as well as starting a new job is hard on him.<\/p>\n

Not only does Mace have a hard time with his new life, Adrienne is having a hard time also dealing with the new business and the threats to it.\u00a0 <\/span>Adrienne and Mace lean more on each other than they already do and start something new along the way.<\/p>\n

I adore when best friends fall in love!!\u00a0 <\/span>They already know everything about each other but also learn so much more.<\/p>\n

Adrienne and Mace are so good together I can\u2019t believe that they haven\u2019t moved beyond friends before now!!!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The steam coming off these two can be seen for miles, but there is also tenderness.\u00a0 <\/span>The tenderness between Mace and his daughter, between Adrienne and his daughter, and the way that he realizes that they make a perfect family.<\/p>\n

Between\u00a0 <\/span>Adrienne and Mace falling in love and the threat to the business\u00a0 <\/span>we learn about the other Montgomery girls and get to see how Shep and his family are doing now that he has moved back home to Colorado Springs.<\/p>\n

I can not wait to read more about this branch of the family.<\/p>\n

Yay!! We finally get to my favorite mysterious shifter in the Lennox family, Luke.\u00a0 <\/span>Adopted into the family when he was found as a cub he is a lion shifter in a family of dragon shifters.\u00a0 <\/span>As a adult he is estranged from his family for the most part and lives a solitary life coming to the Lennox\u2019s only when needed.<\/p>\n

Georgia Mills and her shifter son Grayson were saved, from a group of people that were kidnapping and experimenting on shifters, by Luke in previous book Blackstone Wolf.<\/p>\n

Luke and Georgia find themselves attracted to each other, but Luke doesn\u2019t want to be around anyone not even a beautiful woman who could be his mate and her young son who needs help controlling his shifting.<\/p>\n

Georgia knows if Luke finds out her dark secret he and everyone in Blackstone will be after her and possibly her son.<\/p>\n

Oh my goodness, Montgomery has got writing a story about reluctant mates down pat and does a awesome job at it.<\/p>\n

I have so been waiting for Luke\u2019s story since book one, wanting to know what makes him tick and where he came from.\u00a0 <\/span>This story was so worth the wait. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Luke and Georgia have both been through so much in their lives they are like two halves that form a whole,\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Seeing them find themselves and seeing Luke interact with Grayson is totally awesome.\u00a0 <\/span>A love story at it\u2019s finest.<\/p>\n

Plus, no Blackstone Mountain story is complete without the antishifter group making a appearance and boy do they make one in this one.<\/p>\n

I can\u2019t wait to see who is next to find love on Blackstone Mountain.<\/p>\n
