This is the story of two broken people who are trying to find their way through life.\u00a0 Jackson is lost without his wife and daughter.\u00a0 When life takes them from him, he has had several years of misery until Tessa walks in his bar.<\/p>\n

Tessa has a life of questions.\u00a0 She is looking for answers to her life when she lands a job at the bar Jackson owns.\u00a0 She is drawn to him like a moth to a flame but knows he doesn\u2019t see her this way.\u00a0 She has her trusty friend Jules there to help push her out of her box and into Jackson\u2019s bed.\u00a0 Tessa\u2019s fun loving spirit was fun to read, and I loved how she made Jackson get all super alpha. He made my heart squishy.<\/p>\n

When Jackson gets drunk and peruses Tessa, they are both in for a up and down roller coaster of a love story.\u00a0 One that neither expected. Tessa has to confront her past while Jackson is licking his wounds about his wife and daughter.\u00a0 The two must confront the demons that haunt them all while trying to stay true to the person they have fallen head over heels in love with.<\/p>\n

I received a copy of this book for an honest review.<\/p>\n

How does one deal with having their world taken from them within minutes or overnight? Jackson and Tessa are both dealing with this in different ways.<\/p>\n

Jackson owns a bar in town and has been trying to deal with losing his wife and daughter in an accident years ago. He is trying to move on and submerge himself in work. Until the day Tessa walks in the bar looking for a job.<\/p>\n

Tessa cannot remember anything of her past.\u00a0 She is trying to figure out who she is. When she starts working for Jackson she is drawn to him but there is no way she can cross the line with her boss. Even if she did want to pursue him she knows he is not interested in her.<\/p>\n

Jackson and Tessa are both overcoming issues and find they can help one another move on. Their stories hurt my heart and then gave me the feel goods.\u00a0 My favorite scenes were the sandcastle scenes they tugged at my heart. I did enjoy watching these two getting to know each other and falling in love. Sometime life does not go the way you plan it but in the end life takes you were you need to be.<\/p>\n
