When Eve lands in Greyson\u2019s arms he can\u2019t help but want to help her\u2026and she sees him as her savior. But the problem with all of this is the fact that Eve has no clue who she is and Greyson is a total dick to her because he doesn\u2019t believe he is good enough for anyone so he continues to push her away. The story itself is a rollercoaster full of emotional heartache with some laughs and some crazy HAWT stuff!!!! I am by no means a hardcore MC reader but I fell into the King\u2019s Harlots series where Greyson first appeared and I just cannot get enough of this man! He has such a past that I wanted to uncover and get to know. And our heroine, well she put the cherry on top.<\/p>\n \u201cWind whipped around me, slapping me in the face and cutting into my skin like broken shards of glass. Sticks dug into my feet, the pain slicing through me but no matter how much agony it caused, I ran faster and faster. I didn\u2019t know where I was going. I didn\u2019t know what I was running toward. All I knew was that I was running from something. Whatever it had been, it was evil. Worse than the Devil himself. I didn\u2019t know how I knew that. I couldn\u2019t remember. But I could just feel it. \u201c<\/p>\n \u201cEve. Sent from God to tempt me. F*** my life.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cHate me, beautiful girl. It\u2019ll keep you safe.\u201d<\/p>\n If there is one thing I have learned about the author with the past series and this book is that there is no end to the twists and turns that can come up. The banter between the MC members and with Eve is funny and definitely keeps Greyson on his toes. He is in constant turmoil over whether he can be the man he thinks he has to be for her and she is trying to figure out if her attraction is love or just that she needs someone to latch on to.
