Hi! My name is Mary Martel. I\u2019m an author who writes about witches with lots of boyfriends, big kitty cats, outlaw bikers, and a badass bitch who knows how to use a gun. In my free time I like to read, play around with makeup while pretending I don\u2019t suck at it, and watching horror movies with my crazy beautiful family.<\/span><\/p>\n

Where is your favorite place to write and what food must be present?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I have a bench that\u2019s outside that is my favorite place to write. But only in the summer because I live in North Dakota and it is currently a frozen tundra outside.<\/span><\/p>\n

What are you favorite things about attending signings?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Meeting new people and getting to see the one\u2019s I\u2019ve been lucky enough to meet before. <\/span><\/p>\n

What author would you love to meet (Who is your unicorn author)?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I get to meet Brandy Slaven this year at WOTR and I am so excited about it because she\u2019s one of my favorite people ever. But Laurell K. Hamilton would be my Unicorn.<\/span><\/p>\n

What author would you love to write with?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Brandy Slaven. She just gets me.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is your favorite memory so far as an author?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Receiving fan art from one of my readers that\u2019s of their favorite character in one of my books. I framed it and have it up in my office.<\/span><\/p>\n
