My name is Sandra Sookoo, and I’ve written 80+ books in romance and romantic suspense. I’m also the author of the popular Thieves of the Ton series as well as the Lords of the Night series. Here’s my bio: Sandra Sookoo is a USA Today bestselling author who firmly believes every person deserves acceptance and a happy ending. Most days you can find her creating scandal and mischief in the Regency-era, serendipity and happenstance in Victorian America or snarky, sweet humor in the contemporary world. Most recently she\u2019s moved into infusing her books with mystery and intrigue. Reading is a lot like eating fine chocolates\u2014you can\u2019t just have one. Good thing books don\u2019t have calories!<\/span><\/p>\n

When she\u2019s not wearing out computer keyboards, Sandra spends time with her real life Prince Charming in central Indiana where she\u2019s been known to goof off and make moments count because the key to life is laughter. A Disney fan since the age of ten, when her soul gets bogged down and her imagination flags, a trip to Walt Disney World is in order. Nothing fuels her dreams more than the land of eternal happy endings, hope and love stories.<\/p>\n

Where is your favorite place to write and what food must be present?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

My favorite place to write is my office. It’s full of Disney stuff, Doctor Who stuff and posters of my favorite book covers, as well as books. I’m more productive in there than anywhere else. As for food? I really don’t eat while writing, which is the great thing about writing–your hands are busy so you can’t stuff your face LOL I do, however, pause for lunch.<\/span><\/p>\n

What are you favorite things about attending signings?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Meeting old readers and making new ones.<\/span><\/p>\n

What author would you love to meet (Who is your unicorn author)?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

That’s like picking a favorite book LOL<\/span><\/p>\n

What author would you love to write with?<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

I’m not really an author who writes in tandem with anyone else. Although, I did it for a time when I wrote erotic Regency. It was fun. Would I do a project with a fellow author again? Maybe, if the project was right and I got along well with the author \ud83d\ude42<\/span><\/p>\n

What is your favorite memory so far as an author?<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

]Hitting the USA Today bestseller list in 2017. Challenging myself as a writer with different series that stretch and strengthen my skills. Working with my husband on cover art (he’s the artist behind many of my covers)<\/span><\/p>\n
