I am so glad that Teresa Gabelman decided to do a spin-off for the mates of the VC Warriors.\u00a0 She did a great job giving us the first book in the series with Nicole and she\u2019s on a roll with the second book Tessa.
If you have read the series you know that Tessa is a strong woman that can and will do what is needed.\u00a0 Tessa\u2019s only problem, I feel, is that she has a huge problem with seeing herself has that woman.\u00a0 Oh, sure on some level she knows she\u2019s a strong person but deep down she truly doesn\u2019t feel it because she doesn\u2019t know herself.
Now her mate is one alpha male VC Warrior known as Jared Kincade.\u00a0 Jared has slowly dropped down the list of my favorite warriors because he has what I like to call douchebagitis.\u00a0 He\u2019s always been in my top three and lets face it if I\u00a0 had him as my number one Twinsie Angie would kill me, which is cool because I\u2019ve been in love with Slade since he walked onto the pages of Duncan\u2019s book.
Sorry, sorry, thought of Slade and lost track, LOL, back to Tessa and Jared.
Since the mates have been training with the warriors to all the Males have slowly stood behind their mates decision, with the exception of Jared and it has been causing a rift to form.
In this story we get to see Tessa find and total believe in herself and her power as a woman and a vampire.\u00a0 Major secrets are spilled by Jared, which is the reason he has been behaving the way he has, and we get to see a group of new vamps called The Dark Guardians.\u00a0 We are also get to see Tessa and Adam\u2019s POS father for the first time too.
There\u2019s passion, drama, and you\u2019ll need tissues because there is also tears with this one.\u00a0 I\u2019m excited to see where Gabelman is going with the demon outbreak and to see who the next mate is gonna be.
I do have one small side note for her, well it\u2019s more of a request, more Slade please!!!!\u00a0 Hee, hee, hee, I don\u2019t see where having more of him in any book is a bad thing.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n
