Tell us your name and then a bit about yourself.<\/strong><\/p>\n

My name is Amy Hale and I’m an award-winning, best-selling author of paranormal romance, romantic comedy, and romantic suspense. I live in Southern Illinois with my wonderful husband and two fantastic children. We also live with more pets than any sane person should have.<\/span><\/p>\n

When you are writing, what are some go to’s that you needs? IE Foods to eat, noise level, place to sit.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

When writing I need a comfortable chair, a cup of coffee or large glass of tea, depending on the time of day, and my noise canceling headphones. Sometimes it’s just quiet, other times I write to music. <\/span><\/p>\n

What are you favorite things about attending signings?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I love meeting readers and getting to hang out with them. It’s also great to spend time with my author friends. <\/span><\/p>\n

What author would you love to meet (Who is your unicorn author)?<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n

I’ve met one of my unicorn authors – Julia Quinn. But if I had to chose another, it’d be J.K. Rowling.<\/p>\n

When you are writing, do you have a consistent schedule where you write every day at the same time or are you a sit and go on different days to get it done kinda person?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I’m currently a sit and go kind of person, because I’ve had to change the way I do things. But I’m currently working on a new schedule where I can write consistently every day.<\/p>\n

What is your favorite memory so far as an author?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

It’s so hard to choose. There have been so many amazing moments. I think it was when a young lady approached me and so nervous she could barely talk. She said she loved my books and was anxious about meeting me. I gave her a big hug and tried to make her comfortable while we talked. She was just so sweet!<\/p>\n

Do you have a book that is your most prized possession? What is it and why is it so amazing?<\/strong><\/p>\n

My most prized possession would be my signed copy of The Duke and I by Julia Quinn.<\/p>\n
