Marie Piper. I live in Chicago with my husband, kiddo, and three cats. I’m fascinated by American History, especially the parts we didn’t learn about in school.<\/span><\/p>\n

When you are writing, what are some go to’s that you needs? IE Foods to eat, noise level, place to sit.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Coffee or tea and (lately) atmospheric and moody instrumentals playlists. <\/span><\/p>\n

What are you favorite things about attending signings?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I love meeting readers and seeing what interests them!<\/span><\/p>\n

What author would you love to meet (Who is your unicorn author)?<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n

I’ve been fortunate to have met a bunch of my all-time favorite authors at signings and events, but I’ve never been in the same room as Lisa Kleypas…. Yet, anyway.<\/span><\/p>\n

When you are writing, do you have a consistent schedule where you write every day at the same time or are you a sit and go on different days to get it done kinda person?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I homeschool my son, so my free time is all over the place. I tend to write early in the morning before anyone else wakes up while everything is quiet and dark.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is your favorite memory so far as an author?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I was fortunate to be a signing author at RT in Atlanta. There were so many romance fans there, it was really incredible!<\/span><\/p>\n
