I read this book in 2015.  There was so much going on in this one so many new people being introduced and even got to see some from another series. It was amazing to listen to Jeffery Kafer bring all this back to life for me. I loved remembering all the surprises in this one.<\/p>\n

I received a copy of this book for an honest review.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I was thrilled to be reading about my warriors again. This focused on Slade and Jill. You see all the half breeds are sick and Slade is fighting against time to find a cure for Jill, Pam, Adam and the other half breeds. Their bodies are trying to fight off the man made serum they were given to turn them and they are basically starving to death.<\/p>\n

While all this is going on Jill and Slade are suppose to get married in three weeks but Jill has a big surprise up her sleeve for everyone involved. This story also focuses on Jax and his love interest but you will have to read it yourself to find out who it is. We are introduced to an Ex-warrior, Blaze, that I’m still trying to figure out he is too quiet and seems to hold a lot of secrets and I cannot wait to find out what they are. They bring in Hunter who is a shifter from Lee County and all I can say is he fits in great with Sid and some of the warriors.<\/p>\n

This had me on an emotional roller coaster with the twist and turns. I was laughing on second, in tears the next, and on the edge of my seat from the suspense wanting to know what was going to happen next. Yes, tears both happy tears this is finally happening cry and the ugly cry tears I cannot believe this is happening cry. The talk that Jill and her mother had was one of the scenes that choked me up as for the others you will have to read them to find out cause if I say more it will give too many things away.<\/p>\n

I am so ready for Jax story to see how he does now that he finally admitted to himself that a certain someone is HIS and what will happen when his brother shows up.<\/p>\n

\u201cWho\u2019s fighting?\u201d Steve walked in stopping beside Jill and stared at Sid and Blaze who were glaring at each other. \u201cIsn\u2019t it obvious?\u201d Jill rolled her eyes, her power slipping away. \u201cYou think you can stop asking stupid questions and help me before they kill each other?\u201d \u201cUh, no.\u201d Steve shook his head with a snort. \u201cI\u2019ve stayed alive this long by not getting between huge men, and those are two big sons a bitches.\u201d He thumbed over his shoulder at Sid and Blaze.<\/p>\n

\u201cChill out, man.\u201d Hunter worked his neck. \u201cI\u2019m not out for your lady, just being friendly.\u201d \u201cI\u2019d say maybe, just maybe you tone down that friendliness when dealing with our mates unless you want the Slade Train to make another stop on your face,\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is your fault.\u201d \u201cMy fault?\u201d Jax glared back at her. \u201cIf this is the way you say thank you for saving you, you suck at it.\u201d That stumped her for a second as she bit her lip. He could actually see her mind working. \u201cWell, I wouldn\u2019t have needed saving if you wouldn\u2019t have made me mad.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cCars are hidden.\u201d Steve gave her a thumbs up. \u201cAnd let me tell you it wasn\u2019t easy,\u201d Trevor grumbled but smiled. \u201cAlthough, that Mustang GT was freaking awesome. I think I parked that one farthest away.\u201d \u201cDude, that\u2019s Damon\u2019s car,\u201d Steve said as they headed down the trail where everyone was. \u201cYou better hope nothing happens to it \u2018cause that mean son of a bitch decapitates people who piss him off.\u201d<\/p>\n
