This is the 2nd<\/sup> book of The Survivor Duet.\u00a0 I am going to say if you haven\u2019t read book one you need to STOP and read it first.\u00a0 Also I am going to try and keep this as spoiler free as possible because\u2026..If you haven\u2019t read book 1, I don\u2019t want to ruin the plot twist of it.<\/p>\n

Brooke wakes up in the hospital and is very confused.\u00a0 Her doctor, Blake, and nurse, Donna, are both very attentive to her.\u00a0 They are both trying to help her understand what she remembered and what she lived through in book one vs what is happening in book 2\u2026.see that is where the plot twists comes into play people!!<\/p>\n

Brooke is married to DOUCHE BAG Warren when she finally makes a break for it after Warren is classic Warren.\u00a0 With Donna\u2019s help and a few ladies at Emily\u2019s house, she leaves her past behind.\u00a0 She and Dr. Blake seem to hit it off and with the encouragement, on both sides, by Donna they begin to see each other.<\/p>\n

Dr. Blake is seriously Book Boy Friend Material.\u00a0 He says and does the right things and supports Brooke while she is trying to figure out her own life.\u00a0 Even though Blake\u2019s brother, Cal, likes to rile his brother up in regard to his feelings for Brooke.\u00a0 The way Blake is with Ava is heart stealing.\u00a0 The way Blake understands and encourages Brooke is perfection.<\/p>\n

I loved the dramatic ending and the epilogue makes all romance readers swoon.\u00a0 I seriously hope Cal gets a book because he was a great scene stealer.<\/p>\n
