Sophie Stern writes paranormal and contemporary romance stories for her amazing readers across the globe. When she’s not busy writing, you can find her pole dancing, traveling, or reading zombie novels.<\/p>\n

When you are writing a book, which is harder? The first book in the series or the others after it?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

I think the first book in the series is always the most difficult for me since there’s so much world-building involved. I have to let my readers know the rules of the world, and I have to decide how the characters will interact within that setting! The other books fall into place more easily for me.<\/span><\/p>\n

Renee Rose! I have been reading her books for years and would love to get to meet her in real life one day.<\/span><\/p>\n

What’s the most exciting thing about writing for you? What’s your go-to drink for while you’re writing? Do you have a favorite character that you’ve written?<\/span><\/p>\n

When I went to my first book signing, I had someone come up to me and tell me they’d read Dragon Isle. That was my first series, and to have someone I didn’t know read it, enjoy it, and then tell me about it was wildly overwhelming, but in a good way!<\/span><\/p>\n

What is your definition of success?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The cool thing about success is that it looks different for everyone. For me, being able to support my family on my writing is the greatest feeling! <\/span><\/p>\n
