The narrator, Jillian Macie, drew me in and was difficult to press that pause button.&nbsp; &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Alex lost her brother, Ethan, in an accident and Jesse lost his best friend.&nbsp; Alex knew Jesse could not stand her but they would get together when things were too hard to deal with on the anniversary and birthday of her brother and his best friend. &nbsp;Jesse was the schools star athlete and the hottie of the school.&nbsp; Alex loved Jesse but he only came around on her brother\u2019s birthday, anniversary of his death, and whenever he needed her. &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My heart goes out to Alex her parents are awful to her before and after her brother died. Can I just say her friends or should I say so called friends were not much better than her parents. I have to say Jesse was not my favorite in the beginning but toward the end he started to redeem himself. &nbsp;The chemistry and tension between Alex and Jesse is extreme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I really don\u2019t want to give to much away but the ending I was floored.
