The trio decide to help her vs having her stumble onto zombies or even worse, HUNTERS AKA Bad humans.<\/p>\n<p>The story is a look into what it would take to help someone you don\u2019t know when you aren\u2019t even sure if who they are looking for is alive but also putting yourself at a great risk.\u00a0 I loved the relationship the 3 had and when Riley joins the group how they all do everything they can to hep her feel safe.\u00a0 They all want to see this little girl who was born in the crazy zombie world find her dad.<\/p>\n<p>I admit there were a few EEEEK moments and even a couple teary ones.\u00a0 But I loved the world LC created and can\u2019t wait to grab another novel to read.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/twinsietalk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/abouttheauthor.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-25376 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/twinsietalk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/abouttheauthor.jpg?resize=300%2C100\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"100\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/twinsietalk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/abouttheauthor.jpg?resize=300%2C100 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/twinsietalk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/abouttheauthor.jpg?resize=768%2C256 768w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/twinsietalk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/abouttheauthor.jpg?w=900 900w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>L.C. Mortimer was raised on a small farm in Kansas, which sparked her interest in going off the grid. Learning how to can, garden, and become self-reliant were all important parts of her upbringing. After pursuing her degree in English Literature, Mortimer traveled the country with her husband, living in Hawaii, Maryland, and everywhere in between.
