She has many scars for her abuse under the hands of Minor.\u00a0 But she is strong and thriving as well as she can in the town given her unmated and pregnant status.<\/p>\n<p>Devon is a player.\u00a0 I mean he owns his past.\u00a0 He ignores rumors and lives life.\u00a0 When he saw Jamie, he knew she was different, but he wasn\u2019t ready to admit it until this book.\u00a0 When he went to deal with Malcom is when he realized his true intent for Jamie.\u00a0 Malcom is going to be a good book and I am excited for who I think his mate will be.<\/p>\n<p>The couple have a slow burn relationship.\u00a0 He is treading lightly given the abuse she has gone through with a controlling and abusive shifter.\u00a0 He wants her to know she can trust him and lean on him for everything.<\/p>\n<p>When they both open their eyes, they are wondering can it all be that simple to move on together when her past comes back to claim their right with the \u201cold ways\u201d.\u00a0 ANYONE who knows this pack should know how they feel about old ways\u2026lol<\/p>\n<p>I loved the story and how it moves the town farther and farther along.\u00a0 I can\u2019t wait for Malcom.\u00a0 He needs some forgiveness even though no one blames him for what happened to Jamie in the past except himself.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/twinsietalk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/melinda.jpg\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-25381\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/twinsietalk.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/07\/melinda.jpg?resize=300%2C100\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"100\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review.<\/p>\n<p>It has been so long since I have seen the Lee County Wolves and I so needed this.<\/p>\n<p>Devon is a ladies\u2019 man can get any girl but never keeps them. That is until Jamie Lee catches his eye for the first time. Jamie Lee is with Leda\u2019s old pack. Jamie did what she could to help her pack no matter what the price was. Minors abuse to her caused deep scars.\u00a0 Is Devon able to show Jamie how she deserves to be treated and protect her. \u00a0Will Jamie Lee see that not everything you hear about someone is the truth and learn to trust Devon.<\/p>\n<p>The things Devon does for not only Jamie Lee but her brother, Malcolm, is heartwarming. This is not an insta-love book but more of a slow burn. Devon was amazing when trouble comes knocking on Jamie Lee\u2019s door but Jamie is never the one to sit back and watch.\u00a0 When she decides to take things into her own hands Devon about flips.<\/p>\n<p>I loved getting back to this pack and town.\u00a0 The town keeps growing and progressing.
