Albany lives in Michigan where she\u2019s happily married to her high school sweetheart. She spends most of her time juggling her four children\u2019s extracurricular activities, with her nose stuck in a book. When not reading you can find her writing her very own book boyfriends. Albany\u2019s passion is writing romance with real characters that are far from perfect, but always seem to find their own happily ever afters.

When you are writing a book, which is harder? The first book in the series or the others after it?<\/strong><\/p>\n

When writing a series how do you keep things fresh, for both your readers and also yourself?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I feel like my characters do all the work for me. I love complex characters. <\/span><\/p>\n

Writing can be an emotionally draining and stressful pursuit. Any tips for aspiring writers?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Write what you love. It makes a difference on all fronts. <\/span><\/p>\n

On a typical day, how much time do you spend writing?<\/strong><\/p>\n

6 to 8 hours Monday through Friday. <\/span><\/p>\n

Do you have a favorite character that you have written? If so, who? And what makes them so special.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I love my FMC’s. I’m in love with Waylynn from my current series (that always happens to me) Her inner strength astounds me. <\/span><\/p>\n

What is your definition of success?<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are so many levels, but when someone takes the time to email me, and tells me how my words helped them in some way it feels like a major accomplishment.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
