My name is Tricia Andersen and I am an author from Iowa. I write paranormal, Greek gods, contemporary, historical , and fighter romance. I have three kids and one four legged baby. I\u2019m also a huge advocate and fan of women\u2019s wrestling and love to travel with my husband. <\/span><\/p>\n

When you are writing a book, which is harder? The first book in the series or the others after it?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I think the first book in a series is harder. Once the first book is done, I already have established characters and locations. From there I just need to give the book its own story. <\/span><\/p>\n

When writing a series how do you keep things fresh, for both your readers and also yourself?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I like to try to write stories that are different than what are on the market. I love to explore genres that I was interested in college and incorporate it into my writing. <\/span><\/p>\n

Writing can be an emotionally draining and stressful pursuit. Any tips for aspiring writers?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Take time for yourself. Find time to take a break or set a reward for yourself. And never give up on what you love. <\/span><\/p>\n

On a typical day, how much time do you spend writing?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I spend an hour or two writing each day. I do wish it was more. <\/span><\/p>\n

Do you have a favorite character that you have written? If so, who? And what makes them so special.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Freddy from the Gods of DC series. He loves without judgement and sticks up for the entire family. <\/span><\/p>\n

If any of your books were to be made into a movie, who are the celebrities that would star in it? What book and who?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I always envisioned current WWE announcer Wade Barrett as Sloan O\u2019Riley. I would love to see KJ Apa as Freddy. <\/span><\/p>\n

What is your definition of success?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Being happy with what you are doing to the point that it\u2019s all you want to do. <\/span><\/p>\n
