So when we finally recruit Wolf, an older man who plays guitar, to replace our deceased friend, the band starts to heal. We become better than before.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, I figure out Kyle\u2019s not right for me.<\/p>\n

That doesn\u2019t mean Wolf is, either\u2026but he seems to get me, to understand what makes me tick.<\/p>\n

And I find myself dreaming about his chiseled body. Thinking about him all the time. Finding ways to share stolen moments with him.<\/p>\n

It doesn\u2019t matter that he\u2019s probably not the right guy, either.<\/p>\n

And when we finally kiss, he tells me he\u2019s too old for me. He\u2019s not boyfriend material. He wouldn\u2019t treat me right.<\/p>\n

But I don\u2019t believe him.<\/p>\n

Maybe I should.<\/p>\n

Because I might have to make a choice between the fame I want and the love I think I need\u2026because I probably don\u2019t deserve to have either.<\/p>\n

Verses book 1 of Rocky Mountain Rockstars by Jade C. Jamison<\/p>\n

I was given this book by the author for an honest review.<\/p>\n

I love the rockstar worlds Jade writes.\u00a0 Her Bullet series is one of my favorites of all time.\u00a0 When she sent the ARC for this book, the blurb made my heartbeat.\u00a0 I mean it sounded like a great toxic love story for sure.\u00a0 Toxic for sure it was\u2026.sigh a good old rip your heart out story.\u00a0 LOL<\/p>\n

Hayley and Kyle\u2026.man these two.\u00a0 They were high school sweethearts who grew up, used drugs together, and loved but they loved in a not so great way.\u00a0 She was kinda terrible and he was just the same.\u00a0 When the story starts out, we see the toxic relationship from the jump.\u00a0 The couple seem to be together just because they have always been together and is expected to be together???\u00a0 Anywho, they are also dealing with the loss of the leader of their band.\u00a0 They are left with 2 others struggling to figure out what to do.\u00a0 Hayley starts to chat with the bartender and *Gasp* does he flirt with her???\u00a0 As time moves on and he joins the band, GASP he is still flirting with the newly SINGLE Hayley.<\/p>\n

Wolf\/Miles is a good guy.\u00a0 I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop. He says he isn\u2019t a but he sure the crap is as far as I was concerned.\u00a0 He was everything Hayley needed. She was everything he needed too. The age gap was his \u201cpush\u201d away but once they got all the cards on the table, It was GO TIME!!!<\/p>\n

I really enjoyed the couple. He stood up for her LOTS of time and let her see she is worth more then she gives herself credit for.\u00a0 He also helps her see things for what they are and to accept that sometimes it just is what it is.\u00a0 Hayley showed Miles that not all women are like his past relationships and she is the genuine person he has always claimed her to be.<\/p>\n

THEN right when I couldn\u2019t love him anymore, Wolf was an asshat and then Kyle starts to sniff around.\u00a0 I was like hella no.\u00a0 I am with my girl Hayle and gonna stay single and heart guarded forever\u2026..and then Wolf is back\u2026and again I am swooning because damn it Miles I love you!!!!<\/p>\n

I cannot wait for the next book\u2026.best friends sister\u2026oooof Pedro is gonna have some issues!!<\/p>\n
