I was given this book by the author for an honest review.<\/p>\n

SWEET BABY JESUS!!\u00a0 The chemistry was CRAZY in this book. YO I was dying for these 2 to get to banging\u2026just kinding but kinda not.<\/p>\n

Lance is seriously the most swoon worthy male ever.\u00a0 I mean to see your mate when she is a child and you are a grown ass man\u2026woof cannot even begin to deal with that \u2026.then when you want to come forward and be like \u201cHey guuuuurlllll\u201d she is kidnapped for 3 long years.\u00a0 So much happens to Carrie but she returns and is dealing.\u00a0 Lance is trying REAL hard to keep his stuff tight but when the woman who is your forever, the other half of your soul, and your future is giving you dagger eyes\u2026yeah it kinda flips him out.\u00a0 Broody doesn\u2019t even begin to cut it with Lance.<\/p>\n

There is so much for Carrie to understand.\u00a0 She doesn\u2019t know what this mating mark is.\u00a0 She doesn\u2019t understand why its been hidden from her.\u00a0 She doesn\u2019t understand why Lance would be fated with a damaged mate like her.<\/p>\n

Lance on the other hand is flipping because he has loved Carrie since for ever but he wasn\u2019t able to save her and he feels like he let her down by masking the mate bond.<\/p>\n

GAH these 2!!\u00a0 I am telling ya\u2026intense chemistry.\u00a0 As always we get to see some hilarious dialogue and funny character scene stealers like Scott from the car dealership.<\/p>\n

But again I absolutely fell in love with these characters.\u00a0 The family bond and mating dynamic is written very well by AJ.\u00a0 I look forward to each of her books and cannot wait for who is next.\u00a0 I admit I hope its Jaz.\u00a0 The girl needs a bright sunny day after all her nights in the dark.<\/p>\n
