I received this book for an honest review.<\/p>\n

this book was more interesting than the description led me to think it was going to be. I gave it four stars<\/div>\n
due to how very obvious who the bad guy had to be, I mean honestly even the book description says<\/div>\n
who it is, and the abruptness of the ending. The ending is a bit abrupt. There wasn\u2019t as much tension<\/div>\n
due to already knowing who was behind everything. Although, the what and why of what he was doing<\/div>\n
was a surprise.<\/div>\n

The world building and character development is very good. And all the magical creatures and their<\/div>\n
abilities are lots of fun. Volke ends up bonded to a Knighmare which is a suit of armor made of shadows.<\/div>\n
However, he is the 2nd\u00a0person the Knighmare has bonded to and this leads to problems with the magic.<\/div>\n

All in all this is an good book, just not an I couldn\u2019t put it down book. I would recommend older teen due<\/div>\n
to the violence and complex nature of the main character.<\/div>\n
