I’m Shannyn Schroeder write romances based on family. I write the type of families that I always wanted, the kind I hope I\u2019ve built. My characters get drunk, say fuck, and eat a ton of pizza as they try to navigate life and love. Whether it\u2019s a big family of siblings unable to mind their own business or a group of friends who are thicker than thieves or a crew of criminals learning how to work together as a team, readers can relate to my characters and cheer for them. <\/span><\/p>\n

How did you hear about this event?<\/strong><\/p>\n

This will be my 5th time attending and I’m not sure where I first heard about it. What I do remember is hearing people rave about how good it is, so I knew I wanted to be part of it.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you’ve ever seen me at a signing, you’ve seen my. “Fuckin’ Jimmy” shirt (and stickers). Jimmy O’Malley is my favorite hero (so far) and his book is Catch Your Breath. But I also wish more people read In Too Deep (where Jimmy does get a cameo). It’s the start of a new series with a different family in the same Chicago neighborhood.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is one fun fact about you?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I was once thrown out of a Little Caesar’s for saying “fuck”<\/span><\/p>\n
