I love big, hard and fast \u2026 but unfortunately for me, that\u2019s the quickest way to make a new romance crash and burn.<\/p>\n

Moving to Wilde\u2019s End, our not-so-abandoned town, is exactly the fresh start I need. What\u2019s better than a town in the middle of nowhere and long days of hard work to swear off relationships? At least that\u2019s what I think, until I meet Ziggy.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s the town electrician who has a weird habit of making sparks fly whenever I\u2019m around him. He\u2019s cute, snarky, and his piercings are hot as hell.<\/p>\n

Too bad I don\u2019t trust myself not to make the same mistakes I always do.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve always been the weird loner. The strange kid who doesn\u2019t talk.<\/p>\n

So when Kennedy shows up in my life, with his big energy and sunny personality, I don\u2019t know how to take him. I\u2019m used to being the invisible shadow that goes unnoticed in the Wilde.<\/p>\n

Kennedy makes me feel seen.<\/p>\n

He doesn\u2019t expect me to talk when the voices in my head get too loud, he doesn\u2019t expect me to be funny or witty or anything that I\u2019m not. He\u2019s happy just to be around me, and that\u2019s not something I\u2019ve experienced before.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s sworn off dating. And I\u2019ve never so much as been kissed.<\/p>\n

But with the sunshine he brings to my life, it\u2019s impossible to feel like a shadow anymore. I\u2019m determined to win him over, no matter what it takes.<\/p>\n

Kennedy is too kind an too quick to love. His brothers tell him he scares everyone away with his clingyness. He really likes the beautiful silent man but he knows he has to treat this relationship differently than all his others so he says nothing anout his attraction.
\nZiggy associates speaking with pain therefore he is selectively mute. Its better to stay silent than to embarrass himself by trying to speak but oh how he wishes it were easy for him to form words now. Ziggy really has a thing for Kennedy, the kind twin. As the pair grow closer, they find that words aren’t always needed to communicate but sometimes they are necessary to avoid unnecessary sadness.
