AHHH!!! Duchess and Captain!!! Batey and Franky!! King and Carmine! So much about this book makes me happy. This is one of my favorite MC Series but you MUST read in order or the story will not do you any good. This is a gritty and seedy story line. HEA’s happen but usually after a lot of blood shed!
This book is supposed to be the LAST installment of the series but I will be sooo sad if we don’t get a story for King because he so needs an HEA. That broody, loyal, brother from another mother needs love like Libby and Cap. He has it in his heart and he soo needs to be able to show it to his woman. OK so let’s get back to the real story…..
Duchess and Cap are good. Like they are really good and happy. Duchess is kinda freaking out that her black heart is turning a soft grey…LOL Franky and the baby are doing good after her epic slip up..grrr..Batey!! But life is still and calm……UNTIL…..a woman strolls in to the bar and shatters the calm. Duchess is left spiraling in a downward motion after actions from this woman. Captain is a mess because his woman was hurt from an ex. The whole family s splintering and Duchess can’t stop it.She is having a mid-life crisis…Duchess, Miss Shoot Later and Deal With The Fall Out is a mess. Her and Captain are not good, Her and Franky are fighting but her one true ally is Carmine…the ugly chick!!! LOL
I have to tell you I was loving this book. The story line FLEW and I couldn’t put this down. Part of it was because it is the last book (PLEASE ONE MORE MARY) but also because I just COULDN’T. If you love MC then you NEED to read this story. These characters are not perfect. They are flawed but they love so hard and so strong that you get why they may do unconventional things for the one they love.
