I received a copy of this book from the author for an honest review.
I enjoy Rochelle Paige’s books the ones I have read are short quick reads. This was no different but it was also full of sexual tension and an insta-love.
Angelica was desperate to make money she had to make ends meet. She used her college fund to take care of her mother and survive. Angelica decided to try dancing at the strip club. Even though she was nervous she knew with her dancing background she could wing it.
Morgan the owner of the strip club dropped by the day Angelica was going to audition. Well let’s just say Morgan saw her and had other plans none of which were having her naked on his stage. Now his bed was another story. One problem with that was that he had strict rules for himself and this little one had him wanting to break them. Morgan makes Angelica an offer to be his live in personal assistant. This way he can be with her every day, she can make the money she needs to go to college and there will be no getting naked on his stage. Win win for Morgan.
Morgan does not hide the fact that he wants Angelica. He gives her the time she needs to realize she wants him just as badly as he wants her. He never pushes but makes it known with his dirty talk what he wants and what he will do. When things are starting to go well Morgan finds out Angelica’s Dad has put her in danger. Will Morgan be able to keep her out of harm’s way or will he loose her?
The sexual tension between Morgan and Angelica was so powerful. I loved the way Morgan gave her the time she needed to make her choices. He was an over the top alpha ready to take what he wanted and protect it with every fiber of his being. Angelica is not one that is weak and needs protecting she has sass, tough and down to earth. These two are the perfect pair.
I cannot wait to see what Rochelle comes up with next.

“Hey, I thought there was no touching in lap dances?” I tried to protest.
“There will always be touching between you and me,” he answered.
I knew it shouldn’t get to me. I didn’t know this guy and I was acting a part to try to get a job. But holy hell his words and his touch were turning me on and confusing me. If I was honest with myself, I’d admit that there was crazy chemistry between us and maybe—just maybe—I was using this situation to my advantage to see what

“There is no you and me,” I retorted as I tilted my body away from him.
“There will be,” he insisted. Some of my uncertainty must have shown on my face because his hands gentled and he ran them from my hips to my back and stroked softly. He lightly tugged on the material but it didn’t fall any further. “Show me more.”
