Review by Twinsie Dee

I bought this book and this my honest opinion

Maddie wants nothing more then to live life to her plan everything was going to plan married by a certain age, 2 kids by this age well her life going great until she finds herself getting a divorce and still no kids. But she has a great job with the F.B.I and was a part of a research project that had her in prison and talking to 3 violent criminals. 1 didn’t want to talk, number 2 wouldn’t stop talking and number 3 was gorgeous and she couldn’t help but risk her job and catch feelings for him. Now her job is gone, she fines herself in a spot she never seen in her life plan, but he has to do what she has to do. With a new pen pal with inmate number 3 Jonah, Maddie finds herself with a new look on life and not sure how the hell she is going to make it with lol the curveballs thrown her way tipping her world upside down. This was such a good book you cant help but feel for Maddie and her just wanting to be happy and live life again, its a great read and I’m glad i grabbed it.

I was born in Bangor, Maine. I attended the University of Maine in Presque Isle where I graduated with a BA in English. I spend as much time as I can with my family, and love my two boys more than anything in this world. I also have three adorable furrbabes (2 dogs and 1 cat). I have some amazing friends (you know who you are) and I spend a lot of time conversing with people online through games and other platforms. I have met many from all over the world this way. I am so incredibly thankful for the people in my life, because I am constantly inspired by their presence. You can either find me behind my phone, laptop, or pc — writing, texting, gaming, or playing silly Facebook games like candy crush ( I will win some day!).

If I were to be characterized, I would want to be described as a quirky romantic. That is why you will find romance in all of my books, with some suspense and drama and a little mind sorcery to make everything just a bit more quirk-minded.

Oh Dash our loving, dark brooding, scared soul, ginger its his turn his story and I’m all for it. Dash is trying to find his place in life learning how to move on after the horrible house fire that took place at his cottage. Getting drunk and smashing shit with a sledgehammer, wasn’t the answer he was looking for, getting help from his brothers and Ariel would be the thing that helps him relax a bit, move on, and learn to realize that you can still have a memory without having a place to live where all horrible things happened to you. Ahh i jut over this novella Dash is just someone you want to hug and tell them everything is going to be ok.

A grisly murder…a Dom with plenty to lose. My name is Jordan Caldera, and that’s me, the Dom with everything to lose. Yes, I hated the woman who threatened to expose the passionate BDSM lifestyle I share with my wife, Angel. But contrary to what the evidence implies, I didn’t kill her and my alibi is solid. Unfortunately, I was indulging a few powerful clients, administering to their dark desires, and they would sooner see me imprisoned than to publicly reveal their misunderstood cravings. My choices are simple-put my life and high-profile career at risk by exposing the truth or go to jail for a crime I didn’t commit.

Wow first off another amazing  story that keeps you on the edge of your seat wanting more. When the journalist is so close to dropping the story on who Jordan and Emma really were and what actually happened behind their closed door, they were on the verge of crazy panic not knowing what to do. Well when that very reporter ended up murdered Jordan really started to panic because when she clawed at his arm in the coffee shop days before he was afraid his DNA would be found and he was gonna be accused. Well that wasn’t the only secret he was hiding from his wife, but when the cops start snooping around Emma started wanting to know what her husband was up to at these important client dinners. And she got way more then she ever wanted to know but after being told the truth and that Jordan wasn’t going to ruin these big wigs life’s shit hit the fan and they had a huge fight. But would it be the last fight that they had with Jordan now on trial what will happen to these two once perfected lives with their slowly shattering around them.

I always held hope that the day I left the compound would be the day I found freedom.

I was wrong.

My future had never really belonged to me. My father laid claim to it the day I was born, and I had been a stupid, naïve girl to wish for anything different.

As the heir to my father’s immense empire, my crown sits heavily on my head as I navigate my way through dealings with the criminal world while trying to stay alive.

Unfortunately for me, my crown and my hands are forced to get dirty along the way. Thankfully, I’m not expected to do it alone. Roarke, my deadly bodyguard who’s been by my side since I was six, is my shadow and always will be. I also now have Alessio, the cold, tattooed hottie, Roman, who conceals everything with fakeness that comes far too easily for him, and the alluring but sweet brothers, Tito and Enzo.

When bullets start flying, and people begin dying, my five guys not only stand behind me as the queen of their empire, but they also prove they have every right to be there by getting their hands just as dirty as my own.

Dirty Crown is a full-length, standalone reverse harem novel. This book is recommended for readers 18+. It contains sexual situations, swearing, violence, and some dark themes. It also contains MM as well as MFM.

She was perfect.

Her soul.

Everything.

I had been in love with Gigi Rodriguez for as long as I could remember. I had never been shy about my feelings toward her. Everyone knew how I felt. Except for the person who mattered most.

I needed her like I needed my next breath. Our souls called out to each other, entwining together to form a bond I had never felt with another person.

She was passionate.

Strong.

Mine.

Just when I thought I had her in my arms for good, an unknown force threatened to take away the only thing I had ever wanted…

Vincent Stone Junior was the very reason I danced. Every time I moved, I moved for him. He just didn’t know it yet.

It all started the night of his eighteenth birthday, but school got in the way and I didn’t see much of him for the next three years.

When he came home for good, I knew that he had one mission: To crack down the walls I had built.

I didn’t want to love him.

I didn’t want to need him.

But losing a piece of myself made me realize that I did in fact want those things. He taught me to love myself first and that he would be there, ready and waiting…

For me.

Wow wow wow, this book left me on my toes. Joci has her amazing career as a lawyer and quite the reputation of never losing. Well she also has herself a triangle of sexy men all wanting her attention. First is the hawt as hell Quinn who is a police officer, then is her ex husband and sometimes partner in crime on a case Adrian, finally is her childhood crush turned ex criminal Cameron all wanting her but only one has her wanting him more then just a fling between the sheets. Cameron is up for murder and she and Adrian have to try and prove he was set up, but with the mob involved it easier said then done. This is roller coaster of a story that will have you hanging on til the very in with so many twist and turn you will never see coming.

#wotr #attendingauthor #novella #partofaseries Rain Kimber (Ariel Kimber 5.5) by Mary Martel

Rain Kimber thought that finding his daughter and finally being able to be a part of her life after so many years without her would be the end of his adventure.

He thought he’d find her, take care of the woman who’d stolen his child away from him (you don’t want to know), and then the two of them would immediately become the family they’d been before she’d been taken. Rain would soon learn that life didn’t always work out the way you wanted it to, and really? That was a lesson he should have learned a long time ago.

But it wasn’t all about heartbreak for Rain. With his daughter he gained an entire Coven of family, even the ones he didn’t want. What father got along with all of his daughter’s boyfriends? Not Rain, that’s for sure.

Just as life wasn’t all about heartache anymore for Rain didn’t mean it was all about happiness and rainbows either. The Alexander Coven, the one his daughter had joined, seemed to be a magnet for trouble and Ariel Kimber was right in the middle of it. Which meant Rain was right there with her.

And he wouldn’t have it any other way.

But when they go on a adventure to find the female witch that came into the shop they got more then they bargained for she has a child and she was dying. So now Rain not only had to figure out how to parent a teenager but now a child who wasn’t his. With the help from Ariel and her guys will they be able to help keep this little boy from the council or will they all fail. Mara had one thing on her mind to kill her foster dad and get him to stop hurting her and her little sister, she did just that but she had no idea that powerful supernatural elders were watching her. They needed an assassin and they wanted her for the job. They promised riches and a place to live which what 16 year old would turn that down when she was on the run and living in a tent under a bridge. She is learning how to handle her new found powers and life and just finding out her best friend was a shifter she just couldn’t wrap her he’d around what her life had become now.

Jewels Arthur has lived in Central Illinois her entire life, she is a small town girl at heart and is terrified of city life. She grew up on a farm with 27 barn cats, video games, movies, and books to keep her company. She is obsessed with romance and swoon. Especially the paranormal type — humans are truly overrated.

As a hopeless romantic she wants everyone around her to be in love and wants to read about love all the time. She got married at 19 (suprise suprise) and she had a beautiful baby girl 3 years later when she finished college. She graduated college with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Women’s Studies. Her obsession with love led her to decide that she needed to write her own swoony books, with a bit of dirty of course 😉

#wotr #attendingauthor #partofaseries Just One Night (Oh Tequila 6) by CA Harms

A guy should never, and I do mean never, hook up with his friend’s sister.

It doesn’t matter how hot she is or how many times he’s imagined her in a not-so-innocent way. Nope. Those visuals should always remain hidden deep down in a dark place.

But of course, I just had to drink until I couldn’t see straight and screw everything up. Now, I know what you’re thinking, and I swear it wasn’t my fault. It was that damn tequila.

I never expected to wake up naked only a few feet away from the woman I never should have touched. But man, reality had been so much better than any fantasy I’d ever had.

But it all went downhill fast when she opened the door to leave and came face to face with none other than her brother, who is also one of my best friends.

I’m a dead man, but Jade might actually be worth it.

And to think, all it took to change everything was…

When the tequila starts flowing you never know what’s going to happen in the frat house and when president Issac gets a little too drunk he wakes up to find a blonde trying to sneak outta his room little did he know that he had just crossed the biggest cardinal rule in brotherhood history don’t sleep with a brothers sister. Jade was just wanting to have fun after being treated like shit in every relationship she’s ever been in including the one she doesn’t have with her parents, having fun is what she needed. Little did they both know the romp in the sheets would ruin both of them for other people and a baby comes into play. Will this get to be too much of a lead weight to the frat president who has done nothing but drink and have sex or will this be the exact wake up call they both needed. Wow oh wow this book was amazing and I’m so gonna miss these characters and this group of friends I didn’t want it to end but I’m so glad that we got some bonuses in the back of each character.

C.A. Harms is an avid romance and mystery reader. She’s always had a love for books, getting lost in writing and storytelling even as a young girl. She enjoys happy endings and HEA love stories.

She lives in Illinois and enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She holds an addiction for Starbucks White Chocolate Mocha’s and KitKat when she should really be focusing on water and maybe a fruit or two to make herself feel less guilty, but that feeling quickly passes…thankfully.

She is easy going, fun, and although she may seem like one of the quiet ones at first, you just wait until she gets to know you better…that quietness changes, fast

Five friends that all come from different walks of life but come together at camp every summer. One rule they have made is that they don’t talk about life at home, and they always come to campfire at the end of the evening before bed. Camp brought them together and they look out for each other, but keeping how they handle things back home a secret is harder then some of them thought will their friendships stay true as camp is almost over or will it keep them apart and wishing they never went to camp in the first place. This was such a fun teen story that made you wish you went to summer camp when you were younger or made you remember the times you went if you did.

Ariel is spending her first time ever celebrating Halloween with her guys finally getting to pass out candy to the kids all dressed up and she could be any more excited to do so. Her first time sharing things with Mother Earth and with the moon, with her guys it definitely was something new and also exciting. But things are a little bumpy in her relationship with them as she is getting more comfortable with them all but this hiccup makes her scared she could lose one of them if not all of them.
