Kristen Strassel writes heroes you want to spend the night with. Spend the night reading…what did you think she meant? She started reading paranormal and romance when her mom realized the spookier and spicier the book, the more likely she was to devour it. Now she creates the characters and worlds she always wanted to read about.
Kristen also works as a makeup artist for film and television and hopes to someday be on the set of her own movie. She lives outside Boston but her suitcase is always ready for her next adventure.
I never planned on going back to Hung Island, Georgia. Ever.
I was a top notch Were agent for the secret paranormal Council and happily living in Chicago where I had everything I needed – a gym membership, season tickets to the Cubs and Dwayne – my gay, Vampyre best friend. Going back now would mean facing the reason I’d left and I’d rather chew my own paw off than deal with Hank.
Hank the Tank Wilson was the six foot three, obnoxious, egotistical, perfect-assed, best-sex-of-my-life, Werewolf who cheated on me and broke my heart. At the time, I did what any rational woman would do. I left in the middle of the night with a suitcase, big plans and enough money for a one-way bus ticket to freedom. I vowed to never return.
But here I am, trying to wrap my head around what has happened to some missing Weres without wrapping my body around Hank. I hope I don’t have to eat my words and my paw.
Essie left her old life in the middle of the night and moved to Chicago never looking back. A year later her new job had her forced to go back to find out what was happening to all these female werewolves that kept going missing. So she found herself taking her gay best friend vampyre back to her hometown to kill these bad guys and try not to run into the alpha who also happens to be her ex. Will she be able to get the job done without any trouble or will she find herself in her exs bed before she leaves town again. This book was amazing so funny especially when you put a guy vampyre and an older granny wolf together its bound to be hilarious and it was definitely a great read.

Robyn writes because the people inside her head won’t leave her alone until she gives them life on paper. Her addictions include shoes (the expensive kind), Coke with extra ice in a styrofoam cup, and bejeweled reading glasses.
A former professional actress, she now lives in the south with her family and too many animals to count. Writing gives her a chance to have a job where working in her P.J.’s is acceptable.
When Jeanine Hammond is found dead in a hotel in the picture-perfect town of Oakhust, newly-promoted Detective Jo Fournier is thrown into a disturbing case. Who would murder this shy, loving wife and leave her body posed like a ballerina?
Jo wants to know why Jeanine’s husband is so controlling about money, and where Jeanine’s wedding ring is, but before she and her team can get close to the truth, another woman is found strangled in a hotel, arms placed gracefully above her head like a dancer.
While digging through old case files, Jo makes a terrifying link to a series of cold cases: each victim bears the same strangulation marks. But the FBI won’t take Jo seriously, and if she disobeys direct orders by investigating the killings outside of her jurisdiction, it will mean the end of the career she’s already sacrificed so much for, even her relationship.
Just as Jo is beginning to lose hope, she finds messages on the victims’ computers that make her question whether these small-town women were hiding big lies. Jo thinks this is the missing link between the victims, but she knows the killer is moments away from selecting his next victim. Will it lead her to the most twisted killer of her career in time, or will another innocent life be lost?
Martin only had one thing on his mind the hunt and the kill, finding women who were married and wanting to cheat on their husbands. He despises those times of woman who did that, ever sincehe was a child. Jo was a go forth til the case was solved but with everything in her life crashing and being forced to take vacation time she just wants to do whatshe has to do and get the bad guy, especially after getting the call that a woman was found dead in a hotel room. The only real question is will she catch him or will Martin continue to kill to scratch his itch. This was an ok thriller very predictable in my opinion but still made you want to keep reading

M.M. Chouinard writes crime fiction (including suspense, procedurals, and cozies), and women’s fiction. M.M. Chouinard’s first fiction story was published in her local paper when she was eight, and she fell in love with Agatha Christie novels not long after. While pursuing a Ph.D in psychology and helping to found the first U.S. research university of the new millenium, the stories kept rattling around inside her skull, demanding to come out. For sanity’s sake, she released them
Sisters, Scarlette and Lyndy Loftin, had a normal childhood and spent every waking hour with their friend, Poppy Heller. Their parents were kind, loving people who treasured their children, but went to their graves because of a secret they refused to share with their young daughters.
Now the girls are grown up and on their own.
Poppy’s bubbly personality is perfect for her job as a real estate agent. She enjoys nature and photography, and spending time with her friends at the clubs or at home.
Scarlette is an ER nurse with the perfect job. She is dating a hunky doctor, living with her sister and best friend, and wanting for nothing. Slight changes in her perception occur that make Scarlette question what is happening with her.
Lyndy’s career as a successful editor allows her to purchase an old silo and renovate it into living space for three on the go women. When an old flame, Luca, comes back to town, sparks literally fly. Tempers flare, causing physical and emotional changes in Lyndy that leave her wondering what is happening.
The women are thrust into danger and transformation when they find out the secret their parents had been keeping from them. A secret that will take them on the journey of their lives…the journey to Opalla.
After sisters Scarlette Loftin and Lyndy Hayes find out they are the heirs apparent of Opalla, a world they had no idea even existed, they have a choice to make. Who will be the next Queen of Opalla? They could rule together, apart, or give up their right to rule at all. With Lyndy not wanting anything to do with the job, Scarlette decides to take on the duties.
Between combat training, learning the Rules and Regulations, and getting to know the people of Opalla, the hardest job for Scarlette was learning these things from her teacher, Opalla’s acting King, Zarn Danno. An immediate attraction to each other meant only one thing, they were bonded mates, bound to each other forever.
Just when things start looking up, the rules change. Rules that Scarlette didn’t make. Someone is after the soon to be Queen, but who and why? Is Scarlette the only one in danger? What if she’s not the only one with a mark on her back?
If Scarlette can’t protect her family, how can she protect an entire Kingdom? Only time will tell, and time was against her.

The baby’s arrival is just one of many changes happening in the lives of this family. Scarlette, Lyndy, and Poppy have their own happy news to share… and secrets surrounding Bailey, who has captured their hearts, are revealed.
Due to her illness, Bailey never enjoyed or even experienced the joys of the Christmas Season. The family is determined to make this Christmas a memorable one for her and all to enjoy.
Join the Hellers, Loftins, Joni, Jon, Brock, and Bailey for a festive frolic in the snow as they gather to celebrate family and the holidays.
Poppy’s Projection –
Poppy is starting a new chapter in her life and it involves one hot guard named Brock Harrison. Their chemistry was undeniable, and together they are ready for the next stage of their life to start. This includes a new ability for Poppy… Projection. She can make people see what she wants them to see.
Things finally seemed settled in Opalla, or so everyone thinks, until the family spends the day at the silo on earth. A day of fun in the sun and a family photo op, and in the blink of an eye things go to hell in a hand basket.
Later that day, Poppy develops the family photos and notices someone who does not belong. Things are starting all over again, just like when the girls found out their real identity. With her wedding just around the corner, strange things begin happening, forcing the girls to live in fear.
Can Poppy identify the mysterious person in the photo before it’s too late? Will her wedding to Brock be interrupted? All will be revealed through Poppy’s Projection.
Hello! I’m Jennifer Daniels, author of the Opalla Series. I live in Upstate, NY with my husband and son. I grew up in the great Adirondack Mountains. Writing was never on my radar. I always enjoyed writing essay’s in school, but to write a complete book, never! I went on to school and became a nurse. I was also on our local volunteer fire and rescue department. I wish no harm to anyone but I must admit, I’m a bit of a trauma junkie.
Life can be complicated for me as I have an autoimmune disease called Ankylosing Spondylitis or often referred to as AS. It’s an arthritis that effects your sacroiliac (SI) joints. Your SI joints are located at the base of your spine, in short it causes havoc on your life. It’s a disease that there is no cure for. I was diagnosed in my mid-twenties and it has been an up and down battle.
About five years ago I had my second back surgery (with hardware placement) due to all the nerve damage in my right leg, I no longer work in healthcare. One night I was helping my son with his homework and I was having a hard time spelling words. My son told me he wanted to write a book, so we started his book, (that I promise we will finish). But after that day Opalla was born.

On a dirt road in Nevada, a woman lay dying.
In book one of Montana Steel MC: Josh ‘Red’ Luke, Montana Steel MC Nomad, wants to go home. It doesn’t have anything to do with running from something as much as the need to find his place in the world. As a former Army medic, he used his GI bill to become a skilled surgeon, which fills his necessity to help. Together with the training from the military to never leave a man behind, and his soul feels almost whole.
The woman struggles to find her own name and the reason for being brutally beaten and left for dead. However, the memories come in hard, harsh bursts and the struggles to figure who she was, leaves her reeling and landing in the violent MC world where her natural instinct to run come out. One consecration the lack of memory fortified her—was to discover a thing she never gave a chance in the past—love.
When those who caused the hurt find out their target is alive, but under the fog of amnesia, they set out to finish the job. With her life in danger, the safest place is in Red’s arms. He can heal the woman’s body, but can Red convince her there’s room in her heart for him?
I purchased the audio book and ebook deal from Amazon.
SO I will admit, I haven’t read an MC book/series in along time. When the genre blew up, this girl devoured allllll the books but lately I have just passed when offered books. Well I have recently become obsessed with Michel’s library of books (Hello Two Ink Minimum is amazing!!) and so I was like OK Lets Do IT!! SO I grabbed the book and started listening…..FRIENDS!!! YES!!!! This book was everything I needed in a story. Yes its an MC but those elements weren’t overpowered in the story?? Does that make sense. Yes the club is there and club rules are visible but the characters took the story and my heart.
Josh/Red is a nomad and looking to go home because his father has passed away and his mom needed him at the family ranch. While he is riding, he sees something in the desert and rushes to see who it is. He can hear the wild animals getting closer, so he is worried. What he sees hits him in the gut. He is looking at a battered and essentially dead woman.
Nova/Roadkill thinks she is being lifted to heaven and is stunned when she opens her eyes in a room. She is surrounded by strangers and these blue eyes that she remembered from when she was dying. Nova has no idea what happened or even what her name is hence the club name of Roadkill.
The couple have a great natural building of chemistry. Red wants to help her while also protect her. The banter and seriousness of her attack forms a bond that neither is ready for and both try to push away.
Red is the first to realize he wants Nova forever but knows she is a mess and is probably not sure what the club life is like since she got some 2nd hand not particularly true information.
The couple go through a lot like moving to Montana to start a Steel MC Charter club, dealing with that past she had hidden away in her mind, solving some crimes against women, and falling in love.
Red is a no-nonsense guy. He won’t fight his feelings and is doing everything he can for Nova to realize her place is with him. Nova hasn’t ever had a real family or had people who generally cared for her, so this new “Family” is confusing and scary. But Nova is a bad ass chick who embraces the title Property.
I am so excited to read the story of the rest of the characters. I admit Baldy is the one I am more excited for because his character just screamed at me the most but knowing the next book is Cass, I am stoked!!
Michel Prince is an author who graduated with a bachelor degree in History and Political Science. Michel writes young adult and adult paranormal romance as well as contemporary romance.

She knows eventually they find their way out of her head and to her fingertips and she looks forward to sharing them with you.
When Michel can suppress the voices in her head she can be found at a scouting event or cheering for her son in a variety of sports. She would like to thank her family for always being in her corner and especially her husband for supporting her every dream and never letting her give up.

Wren grew up in the Northern part of the USA. She enjoys spending time with family, curling up with a good book, coloring in her adult books and driving motorcycles, big trucks and fast cars to relieve stress after a busy week.
Born in a large family she is all about family values and morals.
Wren’s friends and family will agree she is never far from a pen and paper as she finds so many things in the world peak her interest and can inspire an entire story.
I was raised in a world full of more death than life, surrounded by the blood-curdling violence and nauseating stench of zombies.
And twenty years after the Outbreak, it doesn’t seem to be changing any time soon.
After a devastating loss rocks my little group of survivors, I’m forced to venture out of my comfort zone in an attempt to find help—straight into the impenetrable walls of El Castillo.
But The Knights don’t take kindly to my mission, and when their leader, Gunner, captures me, everything spirals out of control. My captor suddenly becomes my ally as we’re thrust into a war of Gunner’s own making.
A war that threatens not only his people, but my own.
NOTE: True to an apocalyptic world, CAPTURED has dark scenes that may trigger some readers. However, it is not a Stockholm Syndrome Romance.
I received this book from the author for an honest review.
Ok so before I start my review, I am going to say Zombie books are my JAM!!! I mean I love them and get excited when I see one because I LURVE ZOMBIES!! So because I love this genre I am a bit picky and can tend to be a bit harsh on my reviews. I want the book to take me away but also be realistic. This book did an awesome job of both. I was so impressed with this new to me author and her ability to craft a story that was believable.
Thea and her dad, along with Jason and a group of others have been hiding for years in an old prompt care building. They are hiding from the dead AND the living. The Moonlighters and the Knights her dad said are not groups to get involved with.
When tragedy strikes the group, Thea makes the bold and stupid decision to leave ALONE in search of medicine for one of her kids…her family….her reason for being. She stumbles into the Knights “city” and everything changes for Thea.
Gunner is not happy his fortress has a weakness. He also is not happy with the spitfire who keeps getting under his nerves. When the two come to an agreement to help her people is when we meet the really bad people. The Moonlighters. These are the people who you fear in this kind of world. The take what isn’t yours kinda people. The Knights and Thea soon become a team when the Moonlighters again cause strife for Thea and her family.
The story of Gunner and Thea falling in love but also respecting the hell out of each other and their opinions. I mean he is this strong alpha but tells Thea she wreaks him at every turn because he can’t be without her. Although he was a bit of a dick one morning with Jason…..REALLY Gunner…just pee on her already!!
The story is so fast paced. I started reading and was like WTF I am at 50% in the blink of an eye! The story of family and stress…so much stress in these worlds but also of finding someone who you can love with your entire soul. Finding someone in this hella crazy world is something you can’t deny or refuse.
The side characters are amazing but Jason…my heart aches for him and Vi because she is hilarious, and I think maybe even a bit crazy. I pictured Harley Quinn when I read her parts…LOL do you understand now???
I cannot wait for book 2. This story says its ends on cliffhanger, but I didn’t think it was terrible. Its more of a natural, expected continuation to the story. One I will definitely be reading in March when its released.
Author H.R. Savage (Heather) started reading romance at an age that made her father cringe as she tried to hide the cover behind her hands. She technically finished writing her first book in Junior High, where it mysteriously disappeared in a reformatting incident. Due to the encouragement of her English teachers at her small town school in La Verne, California, she never lost her love for the art. Now a woman who swears by the power of coffee, Chinese food, and wine (not necessarily in that order), she decided it was time to create stories from the characters in her head.
When Heather isn’t writing, outlining, or pinning pictures of hot ‘character inspirations’ on Pinterest™, she is spending time with her three beautiful children and handsome husband.
This is by far my favourite book of the series! Until I read Bane of course cause he intrigues me. But for now, lets talk Trent! Holy schmoly. What a man! So I didn’t read the blurb for any of these books, so I had no idea that this was an age gap romance.
Leigh did an amazing job at bringing these two broken souls together. Even though Edie is much younger than Trent, I forgot the age gap half the time until her age was mentioned.
This book is filled with scandal, twists and turns and so many lies!
I also found this book the dirtiest of the series, which I definitely didn’t complain at all. Trent is fun. So so fun. But as fun as he is, Edie gives it right back to him. Tenfold.
I also loved seeing all the side characters again. Vicious is still a favourite and I enjoyed seeing him happy.
If you love age gap romances with some twists and turns, then I think you’ll like this one! All of the books in this series can be read as a standalone as well but I do think reading from the beginning would help you enjoy it more.

What do you get when you mix Tequila with a house full of rowdy Fraternity brothers who have no boundaries? A cucumber, a pink thong, and a bottle of lube. Oh yeah, and super glue. There is always super glue…
Parties, drinking, and plenty of mornings where you can’t remember what you did the night before…that was my life.
Yet, there was one memory that lingered in my mind. Ten minutes in the woods with Palmer that got too intense to ignore.
But ten minutes with her wasn’t enough. It would never be enough.
She’s a force, one that swept in unexpectantly, knocked me on my ass and left me with an intense craving. Palmer tried to fight it with every fiber in her being, but I could see the desire in her eyes. That curiosity that lived inside of her, wondering what it would be like if she just gave in…again.
I had to convince her that our time together wasn’t a mistake. That she wants me as much as I want her. We share a connection, a bond, that has changed me in ways I never expected. She saved me. And to think…
I freaking loved this tight ball of sexual tension relationship. Corbin is bound to get under more then Palmer’s skin, he wants all of her and little does he know she wants him too just as much but she’ll never let him know that. When a horrible accident happens sending Corbin into a spiral of drugs, drinking and falling into a black hole, Palmer is the only one who can pull him out of it and bring him back. When her past has the key to bringing him back, but it’s the one secret she isn’t ready to let out of the vault yet. These two are amazing and I just loved them so much.
