5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’ve been in a bit of a funk lately, nothing was grabbing and keeping my attention. I went waaaay back in my TBR and found this gem. 4 years it sat there waiting to be read, I can’t believe I had such an amazing book in my possession and didn’t even realize it.

Laura and Seth’s story starts all the way back in 1997. Back when people carried around pagers and had landline telephones. The book spans 15+ years and tells a story of first love, happiness, heartache, and oh so much more. I laughed with them, cried with them, and also reminisced about mine and my wife’s story that is so similar to that of Laura and Seth’s that it was almost eerie. I loved every word on every page. It’s going to be hard to move on from Room 212, but it was totally worth the book hangover it gave me.

USA Today bestselling author and Texas native, Kate Stewart, lives in North Carolina with her husband, Nick, and her naughty beagle, Sadie. She pens messy, sexy, angst-filled contemporary romance, as well as romantic comedy and erotic suspense. Drive was also a finalist in the Goodreads Choice awards for best contemporary romance of 2017. Her works have been featured in USA TODAY, BuzzFeed, and translated in five languages.

Kate is a lover of all things ’80s and ’90s, especially John Hughes films and rap. She dabbles a little in photography, can knit a simple stitch scarf for necessity, and on occasion, does very well at whiskey.
