It was the grin that did her in. Warm, gentle, understanding.

Ribbons of pleasure skittered over her nerves and she pressed against him, trying desperately to get closer. His scent surrounded her, filling her nostrils, dizzying her mind. Filling her with an irresistible urge to taste him as well.

Madly, voraciously, they ate at each other, licking, lapping, nipping all exposed skin and then, in a frenetic rush, exposing more. In her frenzy, she popped the buttons off his shirt. They skittered all over the floor, but neither of them noticed or cared. They also ignored the dogs’ amusement with the new toys.

As buttons and toenails clattered on the linoleum, Andrew murmured something unintelligible and walked her backwards into the room off the kitchen.

Thank God the room was off the kitchen.

She didn’t think she had the wherewithal to make it up the stairs.

Her body was afire, liquid and languid—as though an angry volcano bubbled at her core.

Andrew seemed equally shaken. His hands shook as he removed her blouse. His eyes were wide, red-rimmed, as he stared at her breasts, cupped in nothing but lace.

“God,” he sighed. “God.” Then he whipped around and kicked the door closed with his boot.

She laughed. “Why did you do that?”

“The dogs sleep with me sometimes. At the moment I’d prefer they not join us.”

“Excellent idea.”

This book picks up a month after the events in the previous book. The TF-S team is rescuing Caroline Cotter who Mr. J kidnaped, but little do they know that it isnt really Caroline.
Ok so many things!! First, this is Merc’s book and we don’t know much about him other than Mr.J really screwed him over, more so than the rest of the team I think. Second, you don’t really wanna feel for the enemy but God I can’t help it!! Nightshade is Mr. J’s daughter, well she think she and Caroline are really his because that is the lie that she has been told all her life. That Caroline’s father kidnapped her and killed their mother when they were babies, when in fact it was the other way around but she doesn’t know that.
Nightshade and Merc fall for each other, but she hates herself for it because she is just pretending to be her sister and knows that once everyone finds out who and what she really is they will hate her for it, but she is there to do a job and get out.
There’s just so many levels of hair pulling in this book!! Lol!! You tug a little bit because you see these two falling, you really pull hard and wanna throw the book because you know she’s the enemy’s daughter but you see that she isn’t as bad as him, and finally you just rip it out because you just wanna slap them both; him for not realizing she’s the enemy and her for not realizing the lie she’s been living.
I love that we finally learn more about Merc, that we get to see the rest of the team again, and that things in the end turn out better than predicted. I can’t wait to see the team get Caroline back, the real one, and Mr. J get his comeuppance.

I received this book from the author for an honest review.

WHAT!! Asher…and…..Meeka! OMG this book was so good…like way better then book Jay and Angel and that was a great book too!!!

OMG SO Asher and Meeka totally had me wiggling my eye brows at the two of them. They had this chemistry but hid behind the “best friend” lines. When Asher needs his best friend to go undercover he gets Meeka involved. She doesn’t want to but the argument leads to a scorching kiss and has both of them shaking their heads. Meeka is like “What the heck? Why am I reacting to my BEST FRIEND this way?” However, Asher finally admits to his true lifelong feelings to himself about how he feels about Meeka. I loved the friends to lovers story line. They are both a mess and wanting it but so scared of ruining the best friend status they have had for years. They both want what the other has to offer but are so scared to want it. The story of them falling in love is an amazing journey. AMAZING!!!

Now the story that is going along with them two falling in love is with the traffickers again. Asher is undercover trying to bring own this area of the ring. Asher and Meeks meet with the leader and CREEPY doesn’t even do that man justice. Plus the little spark he has for our Meeka…yeah Alpha Asher is not cool with it at allllllll.

The twist in the book was great and totally something I didn’t think would happen…..I loved the story and felt the ending scenes were a little bit rushed BUT that gave way to the feel of what was happening all around at the end of the story! It was ANARCHY!!!! As always with me, I wanted a longer epilogue but that is because I am an epilogue girl! I am also excited for Colby and Brogan because that man is locked up tighter then Fort Asher!!

First off let me say HELLO HUNKY SAILOR!!! Juliet and Luke really start getting to know each other and to like what they learn.
I love how when Luke comes home hurt she goes to him, no they’ve never actually met until then but they’ve gotten to know each other so well she can’t help but go to him.
Heartly writes about how a wounded solider feels and what they go through mentally so very well, you can’t help but be there and feel it too.
Juliet and Luke go through and over come a lot to make it, but make it they do.
The only thing I do wish is that Heartly showed Juliet’s father just how great her life became, but since they didn’t get along I understand the reason behind him not being in the book other then the first introduction of him.

MC & MILITARY – PERFECT
4.5 STARS

This is a story full of emotion, angst, and of course tons of grit. There are multiple stories going on with one common denominator, find out who’s taking the girls! It has a plethora of suspense, a surplus of humor, and ample sex appeal.

Angel is a Vice-One team leader and if he’s not on an assignment with his “brothers”, you can find him with his construction company helping to repair the King’s Harlot’s MC building. He’s all alpha, he’s dark and domineering, and he’s after Jay. Lucky girl! I found him easy to love right away. He’s a good guy with a huge heart. It’s just took the right girl to open it up.

Jay (Genevieve) is the president of King’s Harlots all woman Motorcycle Club. Wow, incredibly impressive. I liked her, but thought she could have been a smidge more solid. Don’t get me wrong, I think she was perfect in most everything, I just wish she would have swore more, or punched someone or something. I guess I’m a dork, but I just love those crazy fighter types! She’s dealing with a mountain a shit. Her missing sister, disappearing girls, and attacks on her MC. Now, add a holy hotness Military man and her sanity just went out the window.

The supporting characters cast isn’t too big. Those that bare mentioning would be Max and Dale. I found Max to be a pretty excellent friend. She seems to be dealing with some shit of her own (*cough, Dale) and could use her own book (eh em, JM). Dale on the other hand, he’s kind of a dick, but a dick you want to know more about… I suppose he could make a cameo in Max’s book….lol!

So to wrap this up. The storyline is excellent… MC and Military… great combo! The pacing is good, the dialogue flows, and the tension leading up to the climax was just right. Can’t wait to see the detonation that will be Max vs. Dale.
