What’s hotter than a MM couple? Why a CIA MM couple of course!!! Drake and Chance were a couple but broke up when Chance wanted a family with a white picket fence. It wasn’t that Drake didn’t love him it was just that with them being on the same special ops team he wasn’t willing to chance that their bosses wouldn’t approve.
It’s amazing how things are put into perspective when you almost lose the one you love. I haven’t read anything my Kris Cook before, but reading Drake and Chance makes me want to read more from this author. It was a quick story full of intrigue, love, and secret agents that made me look more into this series.

With a Vengeance by Anissa Garcia
Another newbie author for me. Oh, how I love finding new authors!!!
Olivia is dealing with the heartbreaking loss of her best friend six months ago. It was ruled a suicide, but she knows that she was murdered by her ex-lover who is a high powered Senator and now she has taken a job as his secretary to try and get the proof she needs.
She meets Jake one night while out at the park after a bad day and they hit it off.
Jake has secrets, but he’s not ready for Olivia to learn them just yet. Jake knows what he wants and what he wants is Olivia and get her he will.
In this story we have hot office sex, a shoot out, and a spontaneous marriage proposal, you will not be unhappy with this one.

Hard Asset by Kim Grosso
Evan knows that someone is selling data that belongs to the company he works for and the country but he doesn’t know who. When he manages to get a invite to a party where the deal is going down he hope to find out who it is. Enter Raine. Raine works for the same company she can’t be the one, but what he hears makes it hard to believe otherwise.
Raine never wanted to be in the secret agent business, but when she she is approached to sell secrets she goes to her contacts in the government and has to choice really but to be a spy for her country.
Evan and Raine have been circling each other for a while, but no matter how attracted to her he is Evan doesn’t date employees. Raine knows Evan is a player, she also knows that if she ever had a night with him she would want more than he could give her.
The ending of this story killed me!!!! It’s safe to say I will be stalking Kim Grosso so that I can find out more about Evan and Raine!!!!

Revenge on the Rocks by Jenna Jacob
Jenna takes us back to Haven with Nate and Gina’s story. Gina is 12 years older than Nate and even though she has feelings for him she knows that they won’t be together for ever. He’ll eventually want a family and she can’t give him that, so she’ll take him while she can even though it’ll kill her when he leaves. She just hopes that it’s only her heart that’s broke in the end, he can’t love her. Nate just wants Gina, the age difference doesn’t matter and neither does anything else. I love Jenna Jacob!! She knows how to quickly get to the heart of a story all while giving you the loves, romance, and hotness in the bed room that you want. She also knows how to make a great villain that you loathe. Can’t wait to go back to Haven with Nate’s brothers and catch up with him and Gina again.
Seducing Danger by Kennedy Layne
Landon is in the Caribbean to close a business deal. At the resort he has been staying at, this one lovely lady has been catching his eye all week and now that his deal is almost done he plans to make his move.

Wowza!! Talk about a strong woman!! Kelli knows that that she should get involved with Landon, but she just can’t help it. It’s amazing how quick people meet and fall in love. These two do and then she has to leave to go over seas. What happens when she returns is great. Landon and Kelli are great and I love how kick a** she is!!!

Enforce Her ( A Leather, Pipes, and Passion short story) by Isabella LaPearl
Holy Heck!!!! Former marine, now motorcycle man Rambler is one hot as heck Alpha!!!!! Ella is a woman on the run from her past. When they met she thinks she’s safe, but it turns out is isn’t she she runs once again to keep Rambler safe.
Can I just saw a love a man on a motorcycle and one that is former military just makes him even yummier!!! Ella should have figured that a man like Rambler doesn’t need anyone to keep him safe, he’s the one that makes it safe for the people he loves.
Isabella LaPearl has checked all my “YES!” boxes with this one; yummy military motorcycle man, Russian Mobsters, steamy bedroom scene, and a check trying to do the right thing.

First off let me give a little squeal because the Montgomery Ink Series is one of my favorite from Carrie Ann Ryan.
Talk about fate!!!! Ashlynn is in Atlanta for a conference, as she is walking back to her hotel Jax saves her from a car running a red light. Jax is also in Atlanta finishing up a tattoo at his old job before returning to his new job at Montgomery Ink in Denver.
Oh, boy!!! What is suppose to be a thank you for saving me drink turns into a one night hook up. Neither can stop thinking about the other but since they never got last names or hometowns what else can they do.
Then fate, that sneaky lady, intervenes. They actually live in the same city!!! How do they find out you ask?? Because Jax goes to meet his little sister at her work for lunch and who should be there, ASHLYNN!!!!!
Man oh man, do I love how Ryan writes a bearded, brooding, inked up man!!! She makes Ashlynn and Jax getting together seem effortless. Opposites definitely attract with these two a high powered CFO and a tattoo artist.

She has been the woman behind the man for so long and now that her father is stepping down she can run the business her way, her father however does not have the same plan. The business is to be sold to their rivals Honor Designs and she is gone or Ari can marry douche canoe Justin Rosso and become president and owner of the company. She’s always known her father didn’t love her, but she never in a million years expected this, to make her choose between the company or herself!! She does the only things she sees she can do and quits!!!

Along the way of starting her business and planning her first weddings, she starts to realize that her feelings for Harper aren’t just a best friends feelings but those of a woman and a man, something that he gladly helps her with.
It’s always great when best friends fall in love. To me it’s a strong bond only made stronger with that love. Harper and Ari seem made for each other and that is the way it should be. I love this series and I can’t wait for more.

Ok, so this is Mrs. Teresa Gabelman’s contribution to the Taming the Vampire box set, one of 25 books by some fabulous authors, out just in time for Halloween.

This book is about Maverick, a vampire and Becky, a human. Once upon a time Maverick was human and they were in love, but Maverick was turned and pushed her away to keep her safe.
First let me say that Maverick being a Vamp doesn’t change the fact that he’s a dude and dudes think they know what’s best when it comes to the safety of the women they love.
Second, hello another group of sexy vamps from one of queens of sexy vampires.
Maverick, once human now vampire, is a part of the Enforcers. If Gabelman’s vampires were law enforcement the VC Warriors would be the Feds and the Enforcers the local law enforcement. They are after a certain group of vamps and Becky just happens to be caught in the middle.
The action starts right off the bat, I love the reactions that Becky and Maverick have to each other after the time they’ve been apart. The way they feel about each, like in real life, hasn’t changed due to time and circumstance.
The new vampires are funny as heck, they protect the good guys, and love hard. I for one have my fingers crossed for more of the Enforcers, whether they are on their own or intergraded in with the Protectors, hint hint!! . Oh, and Becky by the way kicks ass, literally!!! Love a strong woman who knows what and who she wants.
When men, be they human or vampire, realize that no matter what happens to you a woman who loves you will always love you, magic happens.

Oh Teresa you and your vampires….I mean you know I love me some VC Warrior Jared in The Protectors series but these new guys…Can I get a hells YES to them!! OMG!! I am thinking ol’ Dusty may be my new baby daddy in this series too!!!

SO this is a new series by one of my favorite paranormal writers. If you love her other series, you are going to need to jump into this series as well. The Enforcers are tough, big and uber alpha plus super funny. Maverick has loved Becky forever but he disappeared due to being changed. When he sees her with the bad guy he and his Enforcer friends have to figure out her connection to James.

Becky is still not over Maverick. He left her and she has no clue why. When she is forced to spend time with him to protect her from some bad people, she has to deal with her heart falling all over him again and the devastation she will feel when he leaves.

This story is a GREAT into the new vampire series. I can’t wait for more!!

Teresa Gabelman – The Enforcer

I received a copy of this book for an honest review.

I love Teresa Gabelman’s Protector’s and even her Lee County Wolves but there Enforcers are going to be some competition. Although Maverick was great I’m thinking Dusty is going to the top of my list.

This is about Maverick who was absolutely in love with Becky. Until one night his life changes and he disappears from Becky’s life. She is heartbroken for months. You see Maverick was changed in to a vampire and he decided his life was too dangerous for his Becky. He though the only way to protect her from him and his new life was to leave her. Until one night she is tossed into his world and planted right in front of him. Now he has no choice but to protect her and keep her safe.

Becky will have to endure his presents and deal with the heart break all over again when he leaves her again because she knows it will be coming.

What a great series I loved Becky’s sass, stubbornness, and fight. She is a strong female that can stand on her own feet and stand up to big bad vampires. The vampires are wonderful too and I cannot wait to get to know then better.

The stories all blend together into one amazing book. Before I start discussing the books make sure you have these 3 things handy; A fan, a cold drink, and a towel. Why you ask, because these stories are HOT!!!

Winner Takes All by Mari Carr
Carr continues with the Lewis family from her Big Easy series with Noah Lewis. Noah is a chef who is competing in a on air cooking competition and is one of the finalist along with Hollie Mills. It’s great how you can tell that Noah and Hollie are friends along with competitors and how they both during the course of the show fell for each other.
Having been put up in the same hotel room, unbeknownst to them, for having the same fantasy the decide to go with it and see it where it takes them. Where it takes them is into some HOT BDSM.
Who wins the show? Well they decide they need more than just one night? Ya gotta read to find out!!! Now, by my count we have one Lewis family member left, fingers crossed that Carr continues her Big Easy series!!

By the end of the story I’m wanting Shey to leave her job and family in Vegas to go with Master Anderson it L.A., that’s how awesome these two are from the start. They have such chemistry and Shey has absolute trust that he will give her what she needs for the night.
Master Anderson was always one of my favorite characters in Red’s Brie series and I so glad we get a taste of him here.
I’m saying taste because Red is naughty as always leaving me wanting MORE!!
Wild Card by Angel Payne
Wild Card is part of a Series that I have never read called The Wild Boys of Special Forces. That being said I wasn’t lost or anything.
Jen Thorne is at Nyte for her BFF’s wedding and who happens to be there but her hunky Scottish crush Sam Mackenna. Helloooooooooooo, did you hear me I said Scottish. I’m swooning before I even started because I know there’s gonna be two things: a sexy kilt scene and a even sexy accent!!
They decide on one night of fantasy together and boy do fantasies come true, for me that is be yep KILT SCENE!!!
These two are great and I love that we get to see them in their own environment after their one night.

Hard Hand by Sierra Cartwright
Avery Fisher is a shy sub who had never been brave enough to approach the Dom of her dreams Cole Stewart, but being at Nyte for her Aunt’s masquerade birthday party she feels brave behind her mask. What Avery do sent know is Cole would know who was mask or no mask.
Cole and Avery scene together for one night and boy is it a awesome night. He does everything in hopes that she’ll reveal herself to him.
With this story we also get to see more of the characters after their night at Nyte and it’s great.
Does Avery finally reveal her identity? You gotta read to find out!!!

Sin City Submission by Jenna Jacob
This story is part of one of my favorite series Doms of Genesis.
With Quinn and Ava we have a established relationship both business and pleasure.
The whole idea of their time at Nyte is to push their boundaries as they have become complacent in their roles as Master and submissive.
You can tell that these two love each other a great deal and it’s good to see even fictional characters have to work on their relationships they all aren’t happily ever after.

No Lucky Number by Victoria Blue
This is part of another series I’ve never read called The Secrets of Stone. Once again not having read the series doesn’t lessen the greatness of the story.
Here we have 3 business partners Talia, Drake, and Fletcher. They are at Nyte for a convention for work. Drake and Fletcher are yummy and they are good little boys you like to share. Talia is attracted to both men but she keeps hearing her mother in her head telling her that it’s wrong so she’s fighting it. She also has been hurt in the past and is afraid to trust her heart.
What she doesn’t know is that Drake and Fletcher don’t just wanna have a fun time in Vegas they want a real relationship with Talia, whom they’ve come to adore while working together.
Does Talia give in and start trusting her heart again or does she listen to her head? Ya gotta read to find out.

There is only a few things left to say after reading this anthology: I have found two new authors to add to my TBR list and someone PLEASE write a story about the mysterious Mr. Nyte!!! Please I’m begging I gotta know more about him and the staff at this awesome resort.

AHHH WOW DID I JUST READ ALL OF THAT!! Uhm Yes, Yes I did!!

This book introduced me to two new authors (Mari and Sierra) but let me enjoy authors (Red, Angel, Jenna and Victoria) whose books make my erotica loving heart super happy!!

I can’t even begin to break this down except to say that each story is uniquely different. Each story you read is so amazing and the only thing they have in common is the hotel.

Jenna’s story made me crazy (In a good way) because the couple has hurdles to overcome to get their HEA.

Red’s story touches on one of my FAVORITE side characters in her very popular series. I am so hoping to see this character and his fantasy female again.

Angel’s story made me giggle because her characters are always just so funny!! I mean the woman brings the humor to her stories.

Victoria’s story made my heart beat because the female was so confused by feeling the way she did over the 2 alpha males who were very blatant in perusing the main character. These ladies know their craft and do it very well. Any small glimpse in to their writing and you will be sold and asking “what do I read first?”

Since I am a newbie to Sierra and Mari that is what I am saying, What next? Sierra’s story was so AMAZING!! I loved Cole and was like “WAIT ITS OVER”…NOOOOO !! Mari’s novella I reacted the very same way…With a shake of my head and a quick look through the library to add another story of hers to read!!!

You can’t go wrong with the series of stories and if you haven’t loved these ladies before I can promise you will after reading the anthology.
